After it's been running a while, it starts periodically locking up the browser scrolling and workflow every few seconds. It's like every 10 seconds or so, another hold up, and each hold last a few seconds.

Besides interrupting your workflow, which is irritating, I wonder what else it's actually doing during those momentary holds. Maybe reading your screen, data collection or spying?

I've used this a long time, and while I do like the concept of an unscheduled dark mode switch that you can turn ON and OFF at anytime you wish without any schedules, I find the above problem unacceptable. My browser works normally when I disable this extension.

Super Dark Mode works well to make reading easier on old tired eyes. And it is easy to whitelist sites though not as simple as dark reader. But on the plus side it is faster at rendering sites than dark reader. Until the built in dark modes in Firefox can be controlled in settings this is the best method to take control.

Make a dark PDF reader instead...

1-2 seconds first when starting loading site is still white.
