Does what it's supposed to. However, it would be much more useful if it allowed you to split tabs in a window with too many tabs -- that is, put all tabs to the left of the selected one in one window, and all tabs to the right in the other. This helps organize windows with lots of tabs, which is hard to do one at a time.
