HOW MATCHING WORKS
Every rule targets a web address split into parts: subdomain . domain . tld / path.
- Leave the subdomain empty to match the bare domain only (example.com).
- Enter a subdomain such as "www" or "app" to match just that one (www.example.com).
- Choose to tame the title always, or only when the tab is inactive.
When several rules match the same page, the most specific one wins.

Tab Title Tamer does not collect, store, or transmit your browsing data. All of your rules are kept locally in the browser's own storage. The extension makes no analytics or tracking requests.
