By default, this app prepends a 1 to the phone number. If this doesn't work for you, go to manage extensions->click the three dots->options->under "Tel Link Format" delete the "+1" at the beginning of the text box.

Does the job, I encounter mostly ZA formatted numbers, was cable to customize the link to tel:{0} which removed the US (+1) dialing code.

I was looking for a replacement to Tellify ... but Tel Linker only works with phone number formatted the US way ... which is not of much use to me as most of the phpne numbers I dial are in Europe.

This extension works very well in Chrome -- but only halfway in Firefox v57.0.1(64-bit). In Firefox, it converts the phone numbers into what appears to be links, and when clicked my dialer comes up -- but the number is not sent to the dialer. No number appears, and it will not dial.

This review is intended more for the developer -- once the Firefox version is fixed, this extension will be a boon to many.
