Patch Notes | v2.30 (The Performance Update)

[ NEW ] "Cinematic Mode" Master Switch: Added the [ S ] key as a universal toggle. With a single keystroke, you can instantly hide or show everything: the entire Shorts shelves (both on the Homepage and sidebar) and the Comments section. Your preference is deeply saved in memory and persists automatically.
Time-Based Deadzone (Built for "Always On"): Specifically engineered so you can comfortably leave the Zoom tool running at all times! You no longer need to toggle 'P' off just to scroll the page. The mouse wheel now uses precise micro-timing (500ms) to detect your video zoom limits, gently releasing the lock so you can flawlessly scroll down to the rest of YouTube without accidental zoom inertia.
Extreme Anti-Lag Optimization: Fixed a silent performance killer by fully rewriting the mouse tracking function (mousemove). The camera panning will no longer crash Chrome's rendering thread. It now runs on a standalone data cache, guaranteeing buttery-smooth performance even on 144Hz monitors.
Stabilized SPA Router Engine: Background operations have been bulletproofed. This completely eliminates memory spikes and ghost pages when jumping back and forth between /watch and the Home feed.

Keyboard Shortcuts

'p' key - Interaction Mode (2 States): Toggle pan & zoom interactions ON or OFF.
']' key - UI Visibility (4 States): Progressively hide the progress bar, right-side controls, and left-side controls for a cleaner view.
'[' key - Cursor Mode (4 States): Cycle between Default, Hidden, Dot, and Big Dot cursors.
Zoom Enhancements

Dynamic Minimum Zoom: Zoom now stops at the perfect fit-to-height level (pillarbox), preventing black bars.
Zoom Buffer: Ignores the first few scroll wheel inputs at minimum zoom to prevent accidental zooming or page scrolling.
Centered & Smoother Zoom: Zoom is now perfectly centered and more granular for fine-tuned adjustments.
Zoom Indicator: The current zoom percentage is now displayed on-screen.
UI & Performance Fixes

Enhanced UI Hiding: Correctly hides all modern YouTube UI elements in various modes.
New Color Theme: The progress bar now features a custom blue color.
Performance Boost: Optimized code ensures smooth video panning, even on 4K videos.
