Seems it just tries to upscale qualitity by conversion - which is indeed quality loss not improvement. Experts know!!

It served its purpose superbly back when it worked, but recent changes to Youtube has made this extension redundant.

Dodatek do tej pory był fantastyczny, natomiast dzisiaj nie udało mi się pobrać żadnego materiały z YT. Proszę zweryfikować, może coś się popsuło?

Author seems to have abandoned this plugin, and with the way YouTube keeps changing how things work on their end that just can't happen. YT made some changes in late June 2024 that stopped this plugin from working, so I've given up on it and moved to YouTube Downloader (UDL Helper) - it works fine, in some ways better than this plugin.

While it's working, it works great. However, Youtube broke something again in the past week or so and this stopped working... either I get "Batch download interrupted" or it won't find any source even when the video is playing. However, selecting "Quick download" seems to work for either error on some videos, although it seems to default to highest quality video and audio with no way to choose a preferred max size/format. While this is normally good, for 4k videos this can be a pain - I don't need anything bigger than 1080p, so it's just taking up more storage than it needs to.
