    Totally useless. Element blocking does not work. Either that or it's just not user friendly. Either way, I hate it.

    the subpar chrome based adblock extension now ported to the now chromifiedFOX 57+, so I suggest replace it with uBlock.

    But if you want the functionality of "gecko" based ABP, use Firefox ESR 52 w/c will still be updated till next year.

    it has been one of my favorite add-ons for Firefox, sites load faster without having to download all those ads, and the interface looks cleaner.
    one thing that the previous version had that was better than the new version, is that you could whitelist a specific part of the site while allowing what you wanted to go through. now I have the problem in some sites that Adblock mistakenly blocks some essential parts of the site, and the only way to see that essential, is by letting all the ads go through.
    its all or nothing, either you get infested by ads all around, or see a broken website lacking essentials.

    Used to be a 5 star but now, if I want to watch some clips on youtube (specially Jimmy K), the video will come up, but only the voice, no image and I've reported this but 3 months later, still no fix.

    So I decided to try AdBlock (the one with the "hand" logo) and it's been fantastic, better than ABP. And ultimately, they're the same but AdBlock is better now because of that .

    It's awful and useless now that the interface was "upgraded." You no longer have control of how you want your webpages to look or what plays or pops up on your computer. I have no idea what they were thinking. But for now my advice would be to NOT install it. It's garbage.

    PS: After years of happy use, I'm now uninstalling this POS.

    It used to be good, now it's just useless. Rolled back to version 2.9.

    They ruined the ui and functionality. The ui is so bad it just gets in your way.

    And they even flag negative reviews that don't break any rules to maintain the 5 star rating!

    you don't need uninstall adblock 3.0.1.
    just install 2.9.1. it will work.

    Version 3.0.1 didn't block custom objects.

    Hello!

    Thanks for your feedback! We are working on correcting issues with our block element feature. The list of blocked and blockable ABP items are now in developer tools. 

    How to get there:
    Hit F12 and click on the "Adblock Plus" tab

    or

    Go to Menu > Developer Tools > Web Console and then click on "Adblock Plus" tab.
