Thank you Canapy!
I used this wonderful add-on on a FF version older than 57(after which, basically our experience in FF became more or less painful).
It gets the job done! How? Let me tell you. Well, with a bit of help from another wonderful good old FF extension called Flashgot(it seems that Mozilla removed this extension from their add-on website, like it is the case with many extensions that could not be ported to those damn webextensions).
So, here are the steps:
0.make sure you have set in the Image Downloader preferences the Deep Scan(extremely IMPORTANT feature that can pick original size images that are behind thumbnails{kind of you see a thumbnail image that is actually a webpage that contains a link to the original image}) and chosed a minimum width(height) of images from hyperlinks{I have chosen 500}
1.Click Image Downloader button, then click Current Tab
2.The extension is very helpful showing you the resolution of the picked images(and a direct link to the original image), so you can select with left click every image you want. After that you click on "Save to Dash board" (it is a button on the right top corner. (Save to folder did not worked for me at all, but even if it did, considering the limitations that Mozilla imposed(the fact that add-ons can only download under Downloads folder, and cannot let the user select the desired location), would have been for nothing.
3.Click Image Downloader button, then click "Dashboard". In the page that opens, right click then FlashGot All, then you can select the desired location download the images.
P.S. Just a thought for the developer: if you could somehow send the selected links from the ImgDwnldr_Menu, to another downloader(another extension or program outside of FF) which for sure let us select the download location !?
Cheers!

Good Idea, I'm gonna try to see what I can do, for now I think I can easily add a simple button to copy all links to the clipboard

- Avaliado em 5 de 5por shredjward, há 2 mesesBeen using this extension for over four years now, probably closer to; if not five years outright. It has been able to do everything it promised it would, and even a bit beyond that - if you put in the time in to fully grasp it.
- Avaliado em 4 de 5por MINI4YU, há 4 mesesWhen I browse Google images or YANDEX images, it does not find all the images that have a larger size. That is, each image leads to a link that contains the image in large together with additional content. But most of these images do not appear, but only some of them.

I just need the plugin/script to give me the URL i got, and i will do the rest.
Otherwise, download location/download cache/rename file name/select image level,
these things need to be done by one person, and i will use other tools that can do these well. Don't bother you with download related operations,i just need a URLLIST. - Avaliado em 4 de 5por Usuário 15322640 do Firefox, há 7 mesesVery useful addon when browsing and having several images to download.
Would be even more useful when changes in download settings would only apply after confirmation (not during change is applied), and when there would be an option to enter discrete settings instead of fiddling with the sliders. The maximum size filter should be extended to at least 3000 x 3000 px, and there should be an option to show only selected or unselected images. - Avaliado em 5 de 5por 아쿠자쿠, há 8 meses

- This would be perfect if:
- Choosing the location of the downloads is easier or if it worked, I just don't understand why is it so difficult and complicated.
- Naming download images... I cannot figure out if I can pick a default naming pattern that always works like that, it is completely pointless if I have to type it in EACH AND EVERY TIME
- When I click on the extension icon, it IMMEDIATELY switches to the download the CURRENT tab, and in the context menu gives me the more varied options of picking "Tabs to the right" or "Current Tab" or whatever. - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Usuário 13872495 do Firefox, há 5 anos

- WOW! WOW! Finally this is one of the Best extensions for downloading Images from a Tab. It has all the features I was searching for in other similar extensions, such as the "Bulk Image Downloader (BID)" and the "Image Downloader by Karl". I like the UI of the "Batch Image Downloader", BUT The only little problem I noticed is that It gives me extra images that are not in the tab page and I can not choose my Own download Folder to save the images. It downloads them directly to the default download of the disc C: ... It would be better to choose a different Folder. I have downloaded the 22 images from this Link: (https://xenofontos.com/portfolio-item/east-residence/). Very good Job Guys!

I click back and forth between several complicated pages of options, hit the download button, and it just brings me to another page of options. I don't know how to actually download and I think I've spent enough time trying to figure it out.

publicado há 5 anosTheir is a youtube link on the addon page, if the addon doesn't behave like it should, maybe it's a bug, you can report and I will be happy to fix it, putting bad review like that doesn't help
