- Avaliado em 1 de 5por whyrugae, há 5 mesesIt makes me want to use something else more and more every day. Since the redesign, everything takes more clicks to do, looks like a beginner backend developer done it without any knowledge in UX. Android app worked like crp for weeks. What tf
I originally wanted to rate it to 2 stars but I had a mental breakdown because of this clusterf "new" look and feelResposta do desenvolvedor

The new extension for Firefox is a total train wreck. It takes forever to load, and it takes at least 3 clicks of the "Fill" button to work, and sometimes it won't work, period. If this is not fixed in the near future, I will be taking my password business somewhere else. The previous extension worked just fine.

With the new update, the Firefox add-on has become unusable. The TOTP code can no longer be copied directly, you first have to click through a menu. The view has become much too large and unreadable!

The extension was truly a perfect example of usability and reliability.
However, the new version is incredibly clunky, filled with bugs and the way the Bitwarden team is "handling" the negative feedbacks by the users, is making me question both my loyalty and my future subscriptions.
A sad example of how a company grows thanks to its loyal user base, only for that company to suddenly turn on them and value profit over the very people that made it what it was.Resposta do desenvolvedor

I've been LOVING BW and this FF Add-on for years. That is, until now. They just released an "update" that completely ruins it IMO. They took a streamlined, efficient, compact design and handed it off to someone freshly out of the "how to design unusable SW school" who decided to redesign everything using huge text, icons, and burying everything you need in a menu. Now, to do what took a click before takes several. The larger text and extra buttons reduces usability drastically, by shortening what you can see of the names of your entries in the Vault, forcing you to guess or "hover and wait" to see the pop-up to tell you what you are looking at. Also, they take up about 5 acres of screen real estate with a new "+NEW" button at the top, as if the simple, elegant, and non-intrusive "+" from before wasn't sufficient. Geezus... Somebody took a perfectly good solution and ruined it. It is my hope that they are inundated with complaints and revert these ridiculous changes to the previous version.

Not going to rehash everything that's already been said and ignored. Guess I'm downgrading and disabling auto updates, love that I feel a need to do that on a password manager.
- Avaliado em 1 de 5por locrian, há 5 mesesIt was great up until the most recent update. Now they've "updated" the user interface so that it takes multiple clicks just to copy a password and so that if your extension sidebar is too narrow you literally can't even reach the Settings menu.
- Avaliado em 1 de 5por nelph0nd, há 5 mesesThis rolled to Chrome for me a week ago or so and the BW team got a huge backlash from users very consistently over the new UI/UX. One would think they'd have learned from this and rolled everything back, but no. Knowing everyone hated this, they proceeded to roll this out to Firefox as well, the exact same interface that everybody already told them was bad. Great way to alienate users, Bitwarden. I'm switching to another platform and I've canceled my subscription.

Evidently going to ignore the massive backlash from users and not fix any of it. AVOID.

Des coins arrondis là où il n'y en a pas besoin, des fonctions simples plus difficiles à trouver qu'avant et un aspect global enfantin et disproportionné. Décevant.
- Avaliado em 1 de 5por Usuário 13110774 do Firefox, há 5 mesesThe new UI is bad, but that's up to one's taste and needs, so we can skip it.
But UX? Absolutely horrible!
Why would you decide it's cool to have all of the passwords show always? It slows down the extension (if the user needs to enter the extension).
I won't repeat the rest of the user feedback others have already written.
You've seen on Chrome that users absolutely hate the new look and functionality.
You saw on Reddit people were completely loosing their minds how bad all of this is.
And you're like: "Let's destroy our rating on Firefox as well".
I understand this went through a beta phase - and clearly you had the wrong people provide you with feedback - or you didn't invest time in getting the right people test this.
I'm working in IT, and I can tell you none of this has been handled properly - whoever was in charge of this change has completely failed at their job.
Rolling out these changes gradually? Yes
Seeing all of the feedback and stopping the rollout until you figure out how to deal with a huge backlash? Nope, let's ignore it, roll it out to everyone and then say we're going to give you options.
Terrible strategy - this is exactly how you loose clients. - Avaliado em 1 de 5por Frank, há 5 mesesWhat on Earth happened? This new UI was definitely an unwelcome Christmas gift. It was already getting bad when they introduced this weird navy/puke-blue color, but the newest update just threw it off a cliff. Now I need to click like 4 different buttons to copy my username/password. I used to only need to click 2. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the old UI. Fire the UX guy who came up with this crap and go back to the original dark-themed version and get rid of this puke-blue color while we're at it. Don't become LastPass, please. I'm begging you!
- Avaliado em 1 de 5por Usuário 16654115 do Firefox, há 5 mesesVery bad UI changes, sorry for the guy who made it but it's better to face the truth and learn from errors. Switched back to v2024.11.2 and disabled auto update. Bad in design and bad in functionality, note these always come together because .. ergonomic you know? no you don't. these changes have clearly been made by someone who does not use Bitwarden as much as we do. can see it in a bit of a second.
