- It seems to work great. No major issues with the extension so far. I do want the developer to address the following:
1. I can't find a privacy policy anywhere for this extension. Privacy is a very important issue for many of us.
2. Minor Issue: The menu name ("Bookmarks clean up") is the only one of my extensions that isn't in title case. It would be more consistent if it was "Bookmarks Clean Up". - Avaliado em 4 de 5por Usuário 14398247 do Firefox, há 6 anosAlthough I had to apply the same operation several times before the result stuck, this was the third extension I tried but the first that actually allowed me to do a simple cleanup: first delete all duplicates that share a folder, and then evaluate the relevance of the duplicates that have been placed in different folders.
The extension offers one click removal of empty folders, but there's no manual inspection possible so I don't feel in control with that function. - Avaliado em 4 de 5por krishnanblr, há 6 anos

- Avaliado em 4 de 5por Usuário 13197014 do Firefox, há 6 anos- this add-on correctly detected quite some dead bookmarks that '404 Bookmarks' add-on had not seen in this location. So very good.
- Dupes it detected were actual *folders*, so deleting them would have brought havoc in my bookmarks library. Not good. - Avaliado em 4 de 5por Usuário 12431136 do Firefox, há 6 anosA tool I was looking for a few years... Thanks !
I wonder if "exclusion of folders" could be a little more put forward (I accidentally removed bookmarks of intranet sites).
The generation of screenshots could be a nice feature. It would help removing another kind od of obsolete bookmarks: those whose answer indicates that the site has been moved. - Avaliado em 4 de 5por Usuário 15125262 do Firefox, há 6 anosThere was a bit more manual interaction required than i would have liked (e.g. when it absolutely refuses to remove the last copy of a bookmark in batch mode, forcing the user to delete them individually). Also, the URL checker process pops up countless HTTP auth dialogs for sites which use HTTP Basic authentication. i'm not certain that this extension can avoid those, but it is irritating (i've got dozens of them). In any case, it's simple, clean, and easy enough to use, and it allowed me to go through and clean up a great many useless bookmarks.
- I found 6k "broken URLs" out of 20k, but scanning through them, I can often see why: the link is an obscure & obsolete page within a useful site, so I need to be able to open the link properties & edit (shorten) the target address, but there's no option to do this, and no indication of where (what folder or subfolder) the bookmark is, so if I want to edit the links I'm going to have weeks of work ahead of me - and I'll need to save the result!
Suggestion: If an address is "broken", search again minus the last folder/page & offer that as an alternative address if it is alive.
Otherwise it seems to work fine. - Avaliado em 4 de 5por Juanka Hula, há 7 anosGreat addon. Could you add an "exclude folder" option. Many session restorer addons and similar ones use the bookmarks as a backup and duplicates on those folders are very frequent and required so it would be nice to be able avoid scanning that. Thank you. Also it would be great if you could add a way to contact you like a mail or github in case someone wants to request a feature or report a bug.
