por Usuário 14529333 do Firefox, há 5 anosThis addon is just great!
I like the interface and the way it lets me organize my RSS feeds.
BUT!
It has 2 drawbacks that don't allow me to classify it as the 5 star one:
1) Sometimes it corrupts all the feed DB. It already happened 3 times to me, but unfortunately I don't know the exact ways to replicate it (some PC lags?). I've restored the feeds from the backup (but lost a few new feeds and some read/unread history too). Backups are good, but addon database corruption just isn't.
2) I understand it is a multi-browser addon. But here is the disadvantage of that: the keyboard shortcuts problem. Ctrl+j is the standard Firefox hotkey to access the browsing History, but it is not working if you try to execute it on Feedbro page. It just marks current feed article as read (which is not what I would like to see). Much severe problem is the hotkey Ctrl+Shift+a which is the standard in FF to open addons page. If you run this hotkey in Feedbro tab it marks all feed articles as 'read' loosing all the read history (1000 unread articles in one of my feed folders are now marked as read and that is definitely an unacceptable behavior).
Guys, I understand that the first problem is not that easy to detect and manage, so just inform you. But the hotkey problem is the easy one. Please resolve that hotkey intersection problem. It looks like a bad style adaptation.
Thank you for you job.

- Avaliado em 5 de 5por pnhan, há 13 diasThere are few utilities as comprehensive as this one, supporting so many news feeds, so many viewing modes, but it's free!!
There have been some recent changes related to Youtube embedded links, and I wonder if it is possible to write plugins for this addon (if it supports API) to get better feeds from Facebook groups or personal pages (instead of "scraping" public data like currently, very limited in content and rate limited).
Looking forward to receiving updates and feedback from the developer soon!!
A great utility that I have already recommended to my friends! - Avaliado em 3 de 5por Celtice, há 13 diasIt's a really great tool when set-up works out and the feeds continue to update. I've had problems though, like an error 398 with a couple feeds on the same website, and I can't figure out what it means---I have no clue if it's an issue with the website or the extension. Regardless, RSS feeds might be a "dying breed", but like the radio, it's an integral tool to preserve, and I enjoy being able to check the websites/blogs/social media pages that I care about, with fewer distractions and bouncing between sites.
- Avaliado em 1 de 5por fridakozari, há 16 diasOn Firefox 146.0.1 for Ubuntu number of all and unread articles are not updated when new articles are fetched. It seems that data for earlier fetched articles is somehow overwritten, items are disappearing.
I've also tweaked the available settings - no help.
I'd join the earlier reviews that maintenance of this addon is lagging behind.
I like the idea to handle my RSS feeds in my web browser, I also like the looks and features of this addon, but now I am switching to another solution. - Avaliado em 3 de 5por binomialtie7087, há 2 mesesGood simple rss/atom feed reader. it works as a browser extension so doesn't require logging in to some server hosted platform that trys to push you to pay for a better version of itself, whilst also not being a complex hard to understand self-hosted thingy. decent amount of customisability with 4 colour themes and several layouts. unfortunately it doesn't allow for subfolders, but ive managed around that. also recently embedded youtube videos no longer work which suucks, brings my review down from what probably wouldve been a four or five to three!

- Avaliado em 1 de 5por t'svai, há 3 meseshave used this for years to follow a variety of types of feeds, and it worked great until now. i especially like that i can manually drag-and-drop sort my folders and feeds, (which most other readers i've tried don't allow). it was a very good extension-based rss reader *while it was still fully functional*.
however, within the last few weeks or so, embeds in youtube feeds have stopped functioning and all return error 153.
this extension and many of nodetics' other extensions haven't been updated in multiple years (which didn't bother me until things started breaking... and still no updates came), and some reviews for some of their extensions indicate that the developers are no longer responsive to support emails. it's hard to say for absolute certain, but it seems likely that feedbro's development has been abandoned, which means that even more things - eventually important things - may break as time goes on.
for this reason, i'm lowering my review score, but will raise it again if extension development shows any signs of life in the future. with things as they are now - stuff breaking with no sign of maintenance updates - i can't recommend this extension to anyone. - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Usuário 19551841 do Firefox, há 3 mesesキーボードだけで操作できて、すごくよいです。できるだけ長くサポートしてほしいです。
- Avaliado em 4 de 5por Usuário 19532291 do Firefox, há 3 mesesWould STRONGLY benefit from automatic/scheduled/triggered exports of backups (OPML etc.) to user designated location(s).
It could then be set up to sync across devices and their various apps, guard against data loss, convenience.
It's baffling that this has not been implemented. - Avaliado em 4 de 5por Jonathan B. Horen, há 4 meses
