- I've been looking for tab suspender that has screenshot feature because I want to monitor a list every few hours that will change on refresh and I have to take note what was the last stuff on that list before refresh, and this works great. If I may suggest, please add option to control the transparency of Tab Suspended white box, or maybe the option to make it smaller. Also, I don't know if this also happens on browser restart, but after I restarted the PC and opened my browser, the tabs will still be suspended but the screenshots was gone. Is it possible to make the screenshots stay on this condition?

publicado há um mêsHi, thanks for the review and reporting the bug. I'll look into it. - Avaliado em 5 de 5por LunchBoxSteveC, há 2 mesesThis is the answer to my prayers. I need a lot of tabs open at one time, especially from YouTube and this means that I could be using over 25gb of RAM without this suspender. But not anymore thanks to Tab Suspender!! Now I'm only using 13gb. I've saved over 12gb of RAM and no longer is my Mac using swap file on the hard disk and no longer does my computer feel unresponsive and slow and I also don't see the spinning colour wheel anymore and I used to encounter this regularly. I have an M4 Mac with 32gb of RAM and it used to run like an old 386 with Dial-up because Firefox doesn't know how to manage memory properly. Thanks for such a great extension!

publicado há um mêsThank you for your review. Yes, Firefox is terrible at managing RAM. Glad my addon helped you out. - Avaliado em 4 de 5por Newtomic, há 2 mesesGood features, but making a notification each time a tab is suspended no thanks.
- Avaliado em 5 de 5por gSlay, há 3 mesesFor some reason the only tab suspender that seems to work for me. I wonder if it would be possible to have an option for automatically waking up a tab upon switching to it?

publicado há 3 mesesThanks for the review. Frankly, the whole point of making this extension was so that tabs don't automatically load if I switch back to it, but I'll see if I can add this option. - Avaliado em 5 de 5por queerstudbroalex, há 3 mesesWorks as advertised. I'm also calling for an option to disable the zzz on suspended tabs!

publicado há 3 mesesThanks for the stars, and I have already implemented that option. I just need to patch some things, then release. - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Usuário 19690659 do Firefox, há 4 meses

Additional, It doesn't reduce RAM usage, it's same as active tabs. :-(Resposta do desenvolvedor
publicado há 4 mesesWell, the old version didn't use native Discard API, so it still used resources, although low. The latest update uses native Discard API, so it saves the exact same memory as something like Auto Tab Discard or native Firefox discarding. - Avaliado em 4 de 5por Gofawu, há 6 mesesWork well BUT we need an option to NOT suspend an active tab (even without sound or input), if i have a tab open, i don't want to suspend it, even if my mouse is not on it :/
I only want to suspend tab that are not open
Edit because i can't answer directly ;
If i have a youtube 3 Youtube tab opened, even if one is "active", they will all be suspended if they don't have sound playing or have input, but the one that are opened (visible on the window, sorry i don't know how to explain it better) i don't want that one to be suspendedResposta do desenvolvedor
publicado há 6 mesesHi! I'm afraid I did not understand. Did you want to whitelist certain sites so they never suspend? If so, that's already implemented. You can right click on a page and whitelist a site. Also, tabs that are not open i.e closed, cannot be suspended as the browser cannot 'see' them anymore. - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Hyperduel, há 6 mesesSuggestion for dev...if you could specify the website TITLE on each of the suspended pages (perhaps right above the image near the top of the white box)...then this would make navigation so much easier when clicking across multiple suspended tabs. Hopefully this can be added in a future update! Great addon though, thanks.

publicado há 7 mesesThanks for your feedback, and I’m sorry for the trouble. This update was a major overhaul to improve performance and memory use. I know it may have caused disruption, and I’m working to make future updates smoother. Your input is much appreciated. it helps guide improvements. - Avaliado em 5 de 5por John Albert, há 7 mesesCool addon! Keeps my browser snappy by suspending inactive tabs without breaking a sweat. The UI’s clean, way better than clunky alternatives, and I dig how it skips tabs with unsaved forms or media. The ZZZ animation’s a bit gimmicky, but it’s fine. Wish there was a toolbar button to toggle it off quickly when I’m multitasking. Still, it’s solid for managing my tab chaos. But please, more updates.
- Avaliado em 3 de 5por Usuário 17975234 do Firefox, há 7 mesesThe biggest limitation that this extension has is the inability to export your white list or sync them to your Mozilla account which then would sync across your devices.

publicado há 7 mesesThat's not a bad idea. I'm working on implementing them for next update as long as there isn't any unexpected issues. Edit: Hey, I fixed the biggest limitation you pointed out, feel free to reinstall my addon. - Avaliado em 1 de 5por anon, há 8 meses
- Definitely working as intended! Functions akin to The Great Suspender/the Marvellous Suspender. Haven't tested the RAM consumption yet though.
Would love an option to manually suspend a tab, and also have the tab title be the original title, instead of showing "Suspended:...". As much as this is helpful in differentiating between suspended and active tabs, when you have multiple tabs on one window, it's just a row of "Suspended"s.Resposta do desenvolvedor
publicado há um anoThanks for your review. I'll consider your requests for the next update. - Avaliado em 4 de 5por Usuário 14929586 do Firefox, há um anoPlease check the latest version:
It suspends immediately all the new tabs that I opened through "Open Link in New Tab" and "Open Link in New Container Tab".
And as long as I click away, i.e. switch to other tab, some tab, e.g. the homepage of this addon on mozilla will immediate become suspended, after it become an inactive tab.

publicado há um anoHi! I checked on Firefox 137.0.2 by clicking on open link in new tab and open link in new container tab from context menu and I didn't catch any issues. I changed some tab suspending logic so could you try removing and reinstalling the addon to see if that fixes it? - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Usuário 18700393 do Firefox, há um anoFeatures work as expected. Kind of like the Great suspender chrome extension.
