It's not perfect, but it's my primary go-to for where I'm getting videos in 2024. It could be better, but it's doing it's meager job. I also use MPMux, 4K Video Downloader+.

UPDATE. It doesnt see anything on Youtube any more. I guess its easy come and easy go.I've used this for any years. Some years it didnt work as well as others.

This Add-On works reasonably well - most of the time.
The big downside is, it won't work with YouTube. Any video from YouTube is ruined with a huge "Watermark". Basically an ad to spend money.
I will spend money on products of proven value. I won't pay to make something work properly, and be blackmailed into ongoing expenses.

Wish it didn't put a giant QR code on some videos, great extension otherwise

immer wieder sind von HTTP S://HQporner.com Videos nicht erkannt o. nur als 240p trotz 4K angezeigt,und sind somit nicht downloadable in HiRes. Da das lange gut ging,und nun nicht mehr ,bitte ich um Behebung der Fehler in der Videoerkennung. Der Ant Videohelper hat das Problem noch nie gehabt...

DI like it for the most part. The only issues I have is that it doesn't seem to work on all site and doesn't always download the entire video.

I'm using the beta for a couple of month. The recognition of video resolution is not that good. The resolution recognized as lower ist pretty often the higher one. I can live with that...

What I really dislike: with the new UI it shortens filenames down to 65 charakters, what is not a lot nowadays. When I change back to the old UI longer filenames are no problem.

It doesn't even detect the video on youtube anymore (I have the paid extension)
Correction: it only doesn't work on 720 or higher res videos. The low res ones still work, but there are sites that handle downloading and converting these so an update is needed. Updated from 1 star to 3
