Voice to Text with Whisper ("the Extension") is developed to convert your voice into text using artificial intelligence. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when using our extension.

   What: Temporary voice recordings when you use the transcription function
   
   When: Only when you press Ctrl+Shift+V and speak
   
   Duration: Audio data is immediately transmitted to the Groq API and automatically deleted from your device after transcription

Groq API Key: Stored locally in your browser (Chrome/Firefox Storage API)

User Preferences: Language, transcription model, insertion mode

Storage: Local only, synchronized between your devices via your browser account
