publicado há um mêsThanks for the rating! I wasn't previously aware of this issue, and I don't use Youtube members so I'm not aware of how to access it. Would you be able to bring up an issue on the Github repoistory (https://github.com/RandomGamingDev/yt-times) so that I'd be able to correct it? - Avaliado em 4 de 5por Usuário 18085313 do Firefox, há 2 meses
- Avaliado em 5 de 5por LongRamen, há 3 mesesDoes exactly what it says. The only issue I've encountered is that sometimes in the search results page it doesn't work for a few of the results (with no clear pattern). I am using several other youtube related extensions though, so that may be the reason.
I'd prefer if there was an option to just show the date, since I don't really need to know the exact time, but this is still a huge improvement over the usual vague timestamps. - Avaliado em 4 de 5por BlohoJo, há 6 mesesI̶̶̶n̶̶̶s̶̶̶t̶̶̶a̶̶̶l̶̶̶l̶̶̶e̶̶̶d̶̶̶ ̶a̶̶̶n̶̶̶d̶̶̶ ̶i̶̶̶t̶̶̶ ̶w̶̶̶o̶̶̶r̶̶̶k̶̶̶e̶̶̶d̶̶̶ ̶g̶̶̶r̶̶̶e̶̶̶a̶̶̶t̶̶̶.̶.̶.̶ ̶a̶̶̶m̶̶̶a̶̶̶z̶̶̶i̶̶̶n̶̶̶g̶̶̶!̶̶̶ ̶A̶̶̶f̶̶̶t̶̶̶e̶̶̶r̶̶̶ ̶a̶̶̶b̶̶̶o̶̶̶u̶̶̶t̶̶̶ ̶a̶̶̶ ̶m̶̶̶i̶̶̶n̶̶̶u̶̶̶t̶̶̶e̶̶̶,̶ ̶a̶̶̶l̶̶̶l̶̶̶ ̶t̶̶̶h̶̶̶e̶̶̶ ̶t̶̶̶i̶̶̶m̶̶̶e̶̶̶s̶̶̶ ̶d̶̶̶i̶̶̶s̶̶̶a̶̶̶p̶̶̶p̶̶̶e̶̶̶a̶̶̶r̶̶̶e̶̶̶d̶̶̶ ̶a̶̶̶n̶̶̶d̶̶̶ ̶i̶̶̶t̶̶̶ ̶r̶̶̶e̶̶̶v̶̶̶e̶̶̶r̶̶̶t̶̶̶e̶̶̶d̶̶̶ ̶b̶̶̶a̶̶̶c̶̶̶k̶̶̶ ̶t̶̶̶o̶̶̶ ̶"̶5̶̶̶ ̶y̶̶̶e̶̶̶a̶̶̶r̶̶̶s̶̶̶ ̶a̶̶̶g̶̶̶o̶̶̶"̶ ̶e̶̶̶t̶̶̶c̶̶̶.̶,̶ ̶a̶̶̶n̶̶̶d̶̶̶ ̶n̶̶̶o̶̶̶t̶̶̶h̶̶̶i̶̶̶n̶̶̶g̶̶̶ ̶I̶̶̶ ̶c̶̶̶a̶̶̶n̶̶̶ ̶d̶̶̶o̶̶̶ ̶w̶̶̶i̶̶̶l̶̶̶l̶̶̶ ̶m̶̶̶a̶̶̶k̶̶̶e̶̶̶ ̶i̶̶̶t̶̶̶ ̶w̶̶̶o̶̶̶r̶̶̶k̶̶̶ ̶a̶̶̶g̶̶̶a̶̶̶i̶̶̶n̶̶̶.̶ ̶D̶̶̶e̶̶̶l̶̶̶e̶̶̶t̶̶̶i̶̶̶n̶̶̶g̶̶̶ ̶c̶̶̶a̶̶̶c̶̶̶h̶̶̶e̶̶̶,̶ ̶c̶̶̶o̶̶̶o̶̶̶k̶̶̶i̶̶̶e̶̶̶s̶̶̶,̶ ̶r̶̶̶e̶̶̶m̶̶̶o̶̶̶v̶̶̶e̶̶̶/̶r̶̶̶e̶̶̶-̶̶̶a̶̶̶d̶̶̶d̶̶̶ ̶p̶̶̶l̶̶̶u̶̶̶g̶̶̶i̶̶̶n̶̶̶,̶ ̶r̶̶̶e̶̶̶s̶̶̶t̶̶̶a̶̶̶r̶̶̶t̶̶̶ ̶b̶̶̶r̶̶̶o̶̶̶w̶̶̶s̶̶̶e̶̶̶r̶̶̶,̶ ̶e̶̶̶t̶̶̶c̶̶̶.̶ ̶e̶̶̶t̶̶̶c̶̶̶.̶,̶ ̶i̶̶̶t̶̶̶ ̶j̶̶̶u̶̶̶s̶̶̶t̶̶̶ ̶w̶̶̶o̶̶̶n̶̶̶'̶t̶̶̶ ̶w̶̶̶o̶̶̶r̶̶̶k̶̶̶ ̶a̶̶̶n̶̶̶y̶̶̶m̶̶̶o̶̶̶r̶̶̶e̶̶̶.̶ ̶T̶̶̶h̶̶̶a̶̶̶t̶̶̶'̶s̶̶̶ ̶r̶̶̶e̶̶̶a̶̶̶l̶̶̶l̶̶̶y̶̶̶ ̶f̶̶̶r̶̶̶u̶̶̶s̶̶̶t̶̶̶r̶̶̶a̶̶̶t̶̶̶i̶̶̶n̶̶̶g̶̶̶ ̶a̶̶̶n̶̶̶d̶̶̶ ̶d̶̶̶i̶̶̶s̶̶̶a̶̶̶p̶̶̶p̶̶̶o̶̶̶i̶̶̶n̶̶̶t̶̶̶i̶̶̶n̶̶̶g̶̶̶ ̶a̶̶̶s̶̶̶ ̶i̶̶̶t̶̶̶ ̶i̶̶̶s̶̶̶ ̶e̶̶̶x̶̶̶a̶̶̶c̶̶̶t̶̶̶l̶̶̶y̶̶̶ ̶w̶̶̶h̶̶̶a̶̶̶t̶̶̶ ̶I̶̶̶ ̶n̶̶̶e̶̶̶e̶̶̶d̶̶̶e̶̶̶d̶̶̶ ̶a̶̶̶n̶̶̶d̶̶̶ ̶i̶̶̶t̶̶̶ ̶o̶̶̶n̶̶̶l̶̶̶y̶̶̶ ̶l̶̶̶e̶̶̶t̶̶̶ ̶m̶̶̶e̶̶̶ ̶h̶̶̶a̶̶̶v̶̶̶e̶̶̶ ̶i̶̶̶t̶̶̶ ̶f̶̶̶o̶̶̶r̶̶̶ ̶a̶̶̶ ̶c̶̶̶o̶̶̶u̶̶̶p̶̶̶l̶̶̶e̶̶̶ ̶o̶̶̶f̶̶̶ ̶m̶̶̶i̶̶̶n̶̶̶u̶̶̶t̶̶̶e̶̶̶s̶̶̶.̶ ̶:̶̶̶P̶̶̶
UPDATE - I used a USA Nord VPN HTTPS proxy and it's now working again. It looks like my ISP/IP was the issue.
A problem though is that on playlists, if you move a video's position, the times revert back to "5 years ago" etc., and you have to refresh the page to get the exact dates and times to show back up again.Resposta do desenvolvedor
publicado há 6 mesesGlad that you were able to fix it. I'll check out the issue you mentioned and see what I can do about it. - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Megabliss, há 6 meses
- Avaliado em 5 de 5por Usuário 13797227 do Firefox, há 6 mesesGood, but it doesn't work on mobile page. So I have to switch to the desktop page. Can you support mobile pages as well?
I think I wrote it a little confusingly, so explain further. It works on 'mobile', but not on 'mobile pages'. Like m.youtube.com. Thank you.Resposta do desenvolvedor
publicado há 6 mesesHm weird last time I checked I remembered it working on mobile. I'll check that out later. Before that, do you have any extensions installed? fyi, I've been busy recently though so it might take a bit. - Avaliado em 4 de 5por juliancoy, há 8 mesesWorks well mostly, some timestamps don't match the actual publication date though.
EDIT: So sorry, didn't see your reply. I don't have a github account unfortunately, but the issue occurs whenever I'm viewing a complete list of a channel's videos and I switch to sorting by oldest. The videos show the timestamps of the corresponding videos if you sorted by newest. Seems like the data doesn't get refreshed and the extension just keeps whatever it had loaded for those video slots. Hope this is understandable enough.Resposta do desenvolvedor
publicado há 8 mesesSorry about that. When didn't the timestamps match the actual publication date? It'd be great if you could find when.
This extension works without requiring a Youtube API server by scraping the data so in the best case scenario it's just detecting something else as the date due to the data to scrape being undocumented, or in the worst case that data is used for something that doesn't require it to be accurate and so it isn't accurate.
Either way, I would like to see if I could do something about it.
The Github is linked in the description so you can contact me and post links & images there. - Avaliado em 2 de 5por Selznick, há 9 meses
- Avaliado em 5 de 5por Usuário 17162284 do Firefox, há 9 mesesWorks perfectly - it was so frustrating not knowing when a video was made or seeing a "1 year ago" when the video was actually made 2 years ago. As a wishlist, I would love to choose the format that the date is shown - e.g. "03 November 2023" vs "11/03/2023". So far this is compatible with Enhancer for YouTube, YouTube Shorts Block, SponsorBlock, and Return YouTube Dislike, which is awesome.

publicado há 8 mesesI've been looking into adding this in a way where it's easy to see and accessible.
I have a working idea here would you be able to provide feedback on whether this would work for you or you would want to see any changes to the system for changing how dates are overriden?
https://github.com/RandomGamingDev/yt-times/issues/2
btw I'm going to avoid adding libraries for now to keep the extension easy to read through, verify yourself, and lightweight, but I can if the people requesting this feature think it'd be something worth adding. - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Unnamed, há 9 meses

Resposta do desenvolvedor
publicado há um anoRight now it's using the default time locale and format that everything else on your device is using so you can change it if you change your default.
Are you talking about custom locale/format as in switching to, for example, a different country's locale/format or creating your own? Resposta do desenvolvedor
publicado há um anoI just added support for exact date on Youtube videos that are on the homepage of a Youtube channel in the latest version (1.0.2)
