por Utilizador do Firefox 16380553 , há um ano Stops some sites working by making pop ups appear (eg: nosloq.com works when adblock disabled, but fails when enabled), lots of websites have pop-ups it is no longer stopping and you cannot even "select element" to manually block them now".
It's better than nothing, but it is time to find something better - I think they are chasing money now, rather than providing awesome service. Both is ok, but I think they have the balance wrong now.
*** EDIT ***
No, the nosloq.com do not have an anti-ad blocking device in place - other than warning people it can cause issues.
The pop-up is just to let people log-in, but if they don't have an account they just need to click it off - so then can register instead.
If you use the site WITHOUT adblock - it works.
If you have ad block on, the pop-up just re-spawns. It is not a deliberate issue at their end - as when I spoke with them, they say you ARE aware of the problem - but just blamed it on problems with "filters".
The "legal way" to solve the problem here is to correct the filter that makes a single-show login popup, become a relentless re-spawn problem.
I have seen other sites do something similar too - it works fine (without any ads) without you - but if adblock is enabled it just breaks the site.

publicado a há um anoHello,
thank you for contacting Adblock Plus.
Some websites indeed have an anti ad blocking wall in place, which requires users to disable their ad blockers to access the page.
Websites are in their right to request this, though we believe it is an extremely intrusive practice. We cannot legally stop it but we are constantly exploring legal ways to combat this.

К рекламе вообще отношусь категорически отрицательно. На фоне этого появилось непреодолимое желание, как вариант: не покупать рекламируемый продукт! Принципиально: «Если нельзя, но очень хочется – то найти аналог!».
- It constantly throws pop-ups that interrupt whatever you’re typing, insisting that you upgrade to the paid version.
If you’re entering your password and your eyes are on the keyboard when the pop-up appears, you only notice later that you’ve typed your password straight into a random intrusive window. That’s not just annoying : it’s a serious security risk, and frankly, borderline illegal. - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 13527624 , há 2 mesesI use this extension since ~2018-19 in: Mozilla Firefox on Linux and Windows desktops (x86 && x64(amd64)) and Android devices (Firefox Android version also has extensions support); Chrome (Windows desktop); Opera/Opera extensions store-compatible browsers (Win && Lin x86/64); Waterfox.. Works like a charm all this times. Very appreciate its talanted developers!! My favorite extension for ad-block all this times. P.S. also perfectly blocks newer Youtube embedded ads algorithms since day one of they has been added!!:)

So far it works at 5 stars, but there is one remark: the filters from the built-in list are updated very poorly, that is, they are almost always unavailable for updating.Resposta do programador

Continually having to turn off adds and then refresh the page even for pages where I have told it not to block ads. Finally found this. "Websites or pages you have not visited in the last 7 days are automatically removed from your allowlist" Why?????? And no seeming way to turn off this setting. Makes this otherwise useful add on frustrating and almost unusable.
