publicado a há 5 mesesMicrosoft appears to have completely removed the option in Bing to turn off Copilot answers (AI overviews). DuckDuckGo is an alternative that uses Bing as one of their results sources, along with others, and is more privacy-focused.

Edit: ok fair enough, i guess i'll just avoid using googleResposta do programador
publicado a há 18 diasThere is no other way to disable AI Overviews on Google Search, because it is embedded in the page results. If we just hid it the AI resources would still be spent. That's why we redirect to the Web tab. You can disallow the addon from running in Private windows if you still want the ability to use some of the other features, but AI will still run then. Or you can remove the addon. - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 19661502 , há 22 dias

- Add's an AI chatbot named Perplexity for you to use instead of a search engine.
They talk about water and energy consumption of AI in their about section so its unbelievable this is part of it. Perplexity uses the same logo as this addon and it was removed from firefox when I removed this extension.Resposta do programador
publicado a há um mêsThis is simply not true. This addon does not add any AI chatbots and the logo is not the same as Perplexity. Firefox added Perplexity as a search engine option recently, and this developer had nothing to do with that. https://blog.mozilla.org/en/firefox/firefox-144/
Also, the source code for this addon is open and available for review to see that all we do is add CSS to hide page elements and block or redirect specific url requests. https://github.com/jruns/disable-ai - Avaliado em 5 de 5por luni.ART.ic , há um mêsCreated a profile just for this.
