- Avaliado em 1 de 5por Tom , há 18 horasI'm writing this on my phone while I wait for the extension to restore all the tabs in my PC (so that I can delete the extension).
I expected it to be bad but I decided to give it a try since it was a recommended extension. I certainly didn't expect it to hog all my RAM and make my system unusableResposta do programador
publicado a há 10 horasHi, I'm guessing you tried to restore hundreds or even thousands of tabs all at once. In the upcoming version (v2.4+, coming in the next few weeks) there is new option to restore tabs in an "unloaded" state, so that Firefox does not try to load each web page. For others that are confused: it's not OneTab that is hogging all of your RAM, it's the huge number of pages you decided to restore all at once that is causing this issue. - Avaliado em 1 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 14188979 , há um diaI eventually got it to collect all open tabs into one but it did not allow to restore them again. Cleared all, restarted pc and the same thing. Seems it does not work that well

publicado a há 10 horasHi, this is strange - please contact us at one-tab.com/feedback so we can help diagnose the issue. There must be some kind of edge case happening here, because the ability to click on tabs in OneTab to restore them is such core functionality that it's very strange that it isn't working for you. - Avaliado em 3 de 5por AkashiNeko , há 3 diasWhen restoring all, there is no way to differentiate by group

publicado a há 10 horasHi, in the upcoming version (v2.4+), there is full support for Firefox tab groups. - Avaliado em 4 de 5por Secure Fox , há 9 diasGood. But, when storing an ever increasing list of tabs, it hogs resources and bogs down FF. Disabling or exporting the list is the only solution. When you click the OneTab icon it sends ALL tabs to OneTab. No one wants that. Remove this feature immediately. WTF
- Avaliado em 1 de 5por nothingforyou , há 9 diaswhy does this extension constantly duplicate itself? without fail it will show up as two of itself running in the task bar, one of them will work and one will not. It can only be fixed by uninstalling the addon. This has happened easily 6+ times, this is reoccurring and repeatable.
- Avaliado em 1 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 14202319 , há 12 diasWhy do all the links I've saved always disappear suddenly and randomly?
- Avaliado em 4 de 5por BrainOnEggs , há 14 dias"Gee, I wonder what all this commotion for the UI in chrome version of this extension is about... Well, I might as well go check it out on one of my old chromium browsers..."
"Oh."
In all seriousness, I'm a tab hoarder. A rather chronic one at that, so when I discovered OneTab years ago, I never looked back. Love the extension.
I've had minor gripes in the past, namely with the UI(though this gripe is sure to be a thing of the past with the next update) and how importing and exporting is only a clipboard thing, rather than the ability to download a file, but those gripes were ultimately, just minor gripes. Nothing for me to fuss over in any real capacity, barring maybe one issue that I've only just encountered a few days ago. (Said issue seems to be fixed in the new update, so it's a moot problem.)
Frankly, the only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because I now know the new UI, which is on its way, so I'll probably up the star count when it does arrive.
Until then, this extension is near perfect, and a must have if you hoard tabs. Even with the old UI. - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 13745328 , há 17 dias
- Hi, after enabling this extension, Firefox stops opening pages or loads them very slowly after some time. Restarting the browser temporarily fixes it. I experienced this issue on my Mac, and after Firefox Sync installed the same extension on my Windows laptop, the exact same problem started happening there as well. Please fix

publicado a há um mêsThat version is a beta that isn't released to existing users yet on any browser. But, it will be ready soon, and then it'll be available on Firefox. - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 10757440 , há um mêsI install this addon in every browser of mine that I ever use. It's a shame the FF version appears to be years out of date as it's my main browser.
The Chrome version UI is very nice, and considering I use this addon daily, I'd love to have those latest features.Resposta do programador
publicado a há um mêsHi, thanks, the new version is still in beta. We're still improving and simplifying it. It will soon be released to all Chrome and Firefox users. - I truly love this add-on. OneTab has been so useful for me. Yes, yes, I admit, I leave way too many tabs open. I love being able to just close them up and send them to a clean tab list, and I think it's great that it shows the full description of each tab. The ability to export them is also a great feature.
I hope lots of people install OneTab, to be honest, because I kind of need this add-on to keep existing and thriving. I'm slightly selfishly writing this review partially because I'm kind of reliant on OneTab now, so I need it to be successful.
Seriously, though, it runs perfectly and is very smooth for me, on more than one browser, so I don't really understand the comments from some other reviews.
If the team wants to respond here on how I can even support OneTab further, please do... I'm honestly addicted to this feature now, and I can't go back to life when I didn't have it...! - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Gerry , há 2 mesesI've used this app for years now and it is simple but perfect for anybody who just wants a recycle bin for their tabs.
In a single click it delete all my tabs, but in a way where I can recover any of them easily. This is the perfect solution to tab bloat. They built the perfect extension and then left it alone. Well done. - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 19540097 , há 2 meses
- Avaliado em 5 de 5por Tehkos , há 2 mesesIt would be nice if the extension doesn't try to load all the tabs at once after restoring, it makes it work too slow for hundreds tabs and several windows opened. They could load only the title and be in a "frozen" mode. Like they do when you open the browser with many tabs - then only a couple of active tabs are loaded.

publicado a há 2 mesesHi, thanks for the feedback. In the new version we've been working on, there is an option to restore tabs in an "unloaded" state. It will be ready in a few weeks. - Avaliado em 2 de 5por FooBar , há 2 mesesGood idea but a major showstopper flaw. WHen you click the ontab icon it sends ALL tabs to onetab. Rarely does one want that. The default should be to send the current tab to oneTab. I have made this mistake several time. Even on the dropdown menu "send this tab" should be the first option. ALso no way to create a new grouping in the onetab page so that you can move closed tabs to a new group.

publicado a há 2 mesesHi, we have been working on a new version that will show you a popup window, instead of immediately closing the tabs. You will be able to choose whether you want the 1-click action or the popup window. The popup window will let you select exactly what you want to store. We've also implemented the ability to create a new empty group. It's currently released in beta for Chrome, and has not been released to all Chrome or Firefox users yet. We'd appreciate your feedback on the new version (currently, you'll have to install it in Chrome to try it). - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 19503126 , há 2 meses
- Avaliado em 1 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 19515493 , há 2 meses10/10/25 Mozilla can't handle the heat from all the incompetent add on "developers" so they are now trying to censor users by requiring and email address to login. One tab is a classic example of a Mozilla "recommended" add-on that is just no damn good.
Can't deal with long tab lists and
reduces your system to a crawl by eating up memory to produce the list. One example of many mozilla add-ons that need to be sold to someone who actually knows what they are doing. Slow to load very slow to import export which has to be done manually. Another junk Mozilla "Recommended" add-on
Now let's see if Mozilla deletes this review or my account.
Mozilla going the way of GMAIL. God help us. - Avaliado em 3 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 19509502 , há 3 mesesWorked for bringing over a thousand tabs over from Chrome because google insists on trying to kill adblock.
My only real complaint is the layout is infinitely better on Chrome than Firefox, the Firefox layout is just a basic list broken down by window while Chromes is an actual usable program you can organize things in, it's basically the same layout as the bookmark manager in Firefox. The Firefox version is also missing over half the options page from the Chrome version.
In my opinion, it's useful as a way to move tabs over from Chrome when swapping browsers but not as an actual tool for use with Firefox, unless you're swapping to Firefox permanently don't bother with it and just get the Chrome version. Particularly since it hasn't been updated in over two years at this point and the Chrome version was just updated less than a month ago.Resposta do programador
publicado a há 3 mesesHi, the Chrome version will be coming to Firefox soon. The Chrome version is still in beta and mostly only released to new (and not existing) users. There are some changes/improvements we need to finish making before it is made available to all Chrome and Firefox users. - Avaliado em 1 de 5por Yngve , há 3 mesesThe extension consumes all RAM and makes PC unusable. With 100 tabs on the list (closed) and 2 open tabs it eats all 8GB and all disk swap. Giving the fact the goal of extension is to save RAM, this makes no-sense.

publicado a há 3 mesesHi, this definitely shouldn't happen. OneTab shouldn't take more than about 100MB. If you contact us on our web site, we can see if we can investigate further. No one has ever reported anything like this before with so few tabs stored. The only thing I can think of is if you are storing multi-gigabyte data: URLs in your page. - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 18116532 , há 3 mesesHave been a onetab user for years at this point, and will be for years to come! :D
