Edit: Either click the padlock icon to the left of the URL bar and hit "Clear cookies and site data" while on Youtube when YT is giving you BS, or go into UBlock's dashboard, Filter lists, and "Purge all caches"
You'll have to log back into YT if you clear cookies and site data for YT, but it's worth it to give Susan the middle finger ;) - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 18113941 , há 2 anos

Adblock Plus began implementing "acceptable ad" policies, which threatened to wrestle control away from the user to effectively hamstring it's functionality.
uBlock Origin is effectively the panacea for these sorts of problems. It's free from corporate influence entirely as far as I can tell, and it's completely free, open-source, and entirely transparent about effectively everything it does to give you the complete control you want over what is rendered in your browser window.
It's so good that Google seems to be trying to find roundabout ways to hamstring it because they likely think it might be effecting their bottom line in their online advertising business.
Regardless, uBlock Origin is a one of a kind software. It's feature rich, lightweight, and it's easy to use. You can know as much or as little as you want about how it works or how to use it and that has little impact on your browsing experience as a whole. Obviously if you put more effort into learning it's more complex features, you can tailor your browsing experience further- but for most, that's not something to be trifled with.
True excellence, even among a sea of similar extensions.
uBlock Origin is a ray of light in an otherwise bleak and depressing future for the world wide web. It's one of the last frontiers for giving users the absolute final say in what is or is not being rendered in our browsers.
If we ever allow corporations to fully wrestle this control away- in my opinion, one of the last things left that makes the internet great will have been lost.
I don't know if I would even regularly use the modern internet without this extension.
