- Works great and I enjoyed it for months when I had a UltraWide but when I upgraded to a Samsung G9 that has a wider aspect it no longer works correctly. It would be really nice if you added support for other resolutions. Right now the only options I have are to not use the add-on, have a ridiculous stretch that is unwatchable, or have it cut inches off the top and bottom of the video. I just want it to fill the screen and leave the sides black so the Video is as large as possible on my screen without cutting anything off. Your screenshots show that I should use "Normal Mode" for this effect but that's not how your addon works, not even with a standard Ultrawide.

publicado a há 4 anosThank you for the review. Can you tell me what it does auto-magically? Did I introduce some kind of bug that you might consider as a feature?
Kind regards!- The extension has been working great. Except that it seems to be slowing down youtube videos to the point that they have to load (buffer) frequently while watching. I noticed this because I almost have Gigabit speeds on my internet. So I turned it off and the issue stopped.
- Installed on Firefox Nightly for Android to fix the problem of the bottom of Youtube videos being cut off in full-screen mode. Works perfectly for my 20:9 Samsung Galaxy A52 screen. It's incredible that Firefox doesn't include this add-on in its normal set of recommended Android add-ons, or simply fix this problem.
- Avaliado em 4 de 5por SirPoopsAlot , há 4 anosMy Oneplus 6T developed a problem after getting an update. If I'm not using YouTube then all videos are cropped in to take up the whole screen, chopping off content. This happened for whatever browser I was using, including Chrome. Getting Firefox and this add-on solved that. I guess the only thing I could ask for is being able to pinch or unpinch to change the modes (normal/upscale/stretch) or something like that. That way I don't have to open the menu to change it if I ever want to.
Edit: for those of you unable to use this, check out F-Droid and Fennec. F-Droid is an open source Android repository (think of it as a 3rd party app store for free/open source apps. Fennec is a free and open-source version of Firefox, and using Fennec you can download the specific older version of Firefox(Fennec) that allowed non recommended add-ons like this. I believe it was version 68.12.0Resposta do programador
publicado a há 4 anosThank you for the review. Please explain what is F-Droid and Fennec to those Android newbies or to non-android users that might want to switch and try.
I am personally not familiar with it and I find it unfortunate that Mozilla doesn't want to select this add-on as "Recommended", so that everyone can install it on their Android devices. - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 12876819 , há 4 anosI use it in firefox nightly for android, so I can see youtube without cropping . 5 stars for the extension! Not so much for firefox.
