On top of that, it's quite customizable: if you want high security, you can let the vault time out automatically (so you have to re-enter your master password) or you can go the convenient route and opt not to have to retype your password on every browser restart (or after some time). Amazing!

I used to use LassPass to sync between my phone and computer. They have recently changed their policy of their free version to only sync to a single device. Since I needed to sync to both, I found Bitwarden. After playing with it a bit, I decided to purchase the premium version. It is less that 1/2 the price of LassPass. The biggest "issue" to me is that it doesn't automatically fill in the login in pages. you have to click on the Bitwarden Icon and then click on the login you wish to use (assuming you have more than one login for a particular site). This is by design and actually, once you are used to it, it works great. I also like the desktop app for windows. Nicer than having to log into a website to perform more in depth changes/reviews of your data.
- Not bad. Trying to replace LastPass.
Only big complaint is the font is small. On a 1920x1080 HD display laptop it's quite hard to read.
The desktop app does allow ctrl+= to enlarge font but it too is only temporary until you move, minimize or other actions then the font there goes small. - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 16692516 , há 4 anos
- Having just migrated over from LastPass following their announcement about starting to charge for multi-device usage, I can't believe LastPass have done done me such a huge favour! Bitwarden is far superior, I'm a fan of open source software anyway and this password manager is superb. Thank you LastPass!!

- I changed from another cloud based password product (LastPass) because I didn't like the subscription model. Guess what? This product is so great that I've purchased a premium subscription just to support the developers even though I don't really need any of the premium features. After a few weeks using on Firefox and Android phone, I'm a BitWarden convert. The tool is just better, more accurately identifies fields and changes, and has a great design (easy to use)
One feature I do miss from previous product is the ability to prevent international usage for all but allow-listed locations.
