It has been very useful since Mozilla stopped locking properly like it used to, and since then I’ve been searching for a way to do this, as the master password only partially protects passwords, which I never actually put there. However, I would prefer a central lock, although this isn’t bad. When I set the password, it didn’t register immediately—I waited a while and finally it did, but it didn’t show it. Also, when I type the password and press Enter, it doesn’t open; I have to click the button. I give 5 stars for the effort to make something so useful, even though it needs a little improvement. I’m sure that finally I’ll be able to hide my beloved browser from prying eyes. I had to use the portable version in order to hide my browser, because if I used the regular installation, it would open the system-wide profile in AppData. With the portable, I can lock everything, including private tabs, and keep it completely under my control. Thank you!!!!!!!!!

After unlocking Browser Lock, lost my open tabs and the pin tabs too.

Love the idea, been looking for exactly the same solution, but after installing the extention it worked one time and then after restarting my browser it would not let me use my browser even though i am putting in the correct password, i did not even had access to the settings to remove it. i had to remove the extention manually by deleting its XPI file from the firefox folder.

Great idea, but it is supposed to lock others from my browser not lock ME out of my own browser.
