It does work in deleting comments properly (i've tried other extensions that only superficially delete commets). This deletes comments on the old overview page of old reddit. However it times out. And I get this error:

Looks like there’s a problem with this site
OLD_REDDIT_URL sent back an error.
Error code: 429
Check to make sure you’ve typed the web site address correctly.

if this can be worked around then that would be good.

Thanks for pointing this out!
Apparently, it is a rate limiting tactic from reddit's own servers. I am trying to find a way around it. Will update soon.

Does not work. Only deletes a page of comments at a time, meaning you have to click thousands of times to delete your account, wait for hundreds of page loads.

Updated extension to delete all comments and posts in a profile. It will now carry out in the background, you only have to keep the tab open.
Hope you try it out and give a better feedback.
