Auto detect signed in account does not work

Auto detect signed in account does not work. If I press the refresh icon in preferences in account/lables page, an error snackbar pops up saying: "Typeerror: can't access dead object"

I've been using this gmail notifier for a good while, on several different browsers. I like it. However, I could never get the audible alert to work in Firefox (works good in Chrome & Vivaldi). The notification icon works, but I'm not always looking at the screen, so it would be nice if the "ding" worked.

Great email checker. Unfortunately, after upgrading to Firefox 58 and selecting the "no tracking" feature, it will not search my email. When I turn the "no tracking" feature off again, it works like a charm. It would be nice if we could use the "no tracking" feature with Check Plus for Gmail.

Hi, Jason! You wrote "Works for me, use the default settings." But I can't find reset button. Where is it?

DOES NOT WORK with quantum. Takes you to a link to "refresh Firefox" which will REMOVE EVERYTHING from FF: settings, bookmarks, etc.... Tried this in chrome and had similar problems. STAY AWAY!

I really hate the material design.
