What the extension sends. Text you select or type into the panel is sent to cleverchecker.com to be checked or rewritten, along with your choice of tool.
Nothing is sent until you press the button. The extension does not read pages in the background, and it does not track your browsing.

How long it is kept. If you are not signed in, your text is erased automatically within 24 hours of your check. If you are signed in, checks are
saved to your account and kept until you delete them. You can delete them, and your account, yourself at any time.

Who else sees it. To produce a result, text may be passed to third-party
providers that process it only on our behalf and under contract. We never sell your text, and we never place submitted content in URLs or query strings.

Your rights. You can access, correct, delete, export or restrict your
personal data, and withdraw consent at any time. UK and EU users have GDPR rights; California users have CCPA rights.
