These changes required a HD downloader to do additional processing before a download could be delivered. What does that mean for the normal user? Someone is providing the processing power and server to accomplish this and we shouldn't expect someone else to supply this for free. I subscribed some time ago and it's been worth the charge.
I looked at many low rated reviews for this app, many w/o comments and saw complaints such as others are free and sometimes it is slow. With all that is happening on the net in today's world there are many times everything is slower. What does a quality app cost a user? If it's "free" someone is paying in the background and likely it's the user with their private information. If you stay on a free version, give the developer a few dollars just to say, thank you.
