Sorry for the harsh review but this addon has a HUGE issue that hasn't been fixed in a year.
Every now and then, randomly, this addon will stop working. The advanced control features will go away permanently.
Literally the only way to fix it is to reset all cache & cookies. Other reviews bring this up too, it's not just my machine.

This is very infuriating. On one hand, the features of this addon are incredibly useful, and it's annoying to use Youtube without it.
On the other hand, I don't want to keep losing ALL my website logins & settings just to keep it working. I didn't want to write this review but after a year I don't think this is ever going to be fixed.

Used to block ads at Youtube. Removed in v2.0.22. Author said "To comply with Youtube's Adblock Policy, I had to remove all the Ads Management related features." What add-on author has to comply with any Google policy? Google isn't hosting the add-on download. What if Google declared the volume could not be controlled or set to an initial volume level, or display a pop-up player when scrolling through comments, or any of the other options in this add-on? Removing ads that interfered with viewing a video was my primary reason to use this add-on, but that's now gone. Ads blocked were interlaced in the video, not shown elsewhere on the web page outside the video (which an adblocker add-on will handle). I'm reviewing the other settings in this add-on to determine if there is any reason to keep it anymore.

Author's web site says "Please don't send feature requests" to his e-mail, and the Support Email link here is to the same address, so have to post them here as a review.

Feature request for 2 additional options:
- Default video type: All, Shorts, Videos, Unwatched, Watched, Recently uploaded, and Live. Shorts are garbage created usually on smartphones. All is the default which includes Shorts. Would prefer Videos since those are why I visit Youtube.
- Default CC = off. Too many videos have closed captions which I don't need. I have to keep clicking the CC button to get rid of that noise.

Generally a good extention, but seems like the playlist reversal feature does not work currently. the button is enabled in the settings but does not appear anywhere in the UI at all.

Works super well! especially the speed option, even if it's a little fiddly with a trackpad.

Impressive level of control over YouTube. My favorite feature is forcing it to a specific resolution. YouTube lately has been quietly downshifting your video resolutions by default to save themselves bandwidth.

4/5 stars because this doesn't include a feature (That I have found) for quick and easy YouTube downloads. Would be an awesome feature to add.

Please keep support for Firefox ESR version.

He is amazing, help-me a lot putting out all noise images and screens that does not matter to me. That's it.

Very handy extension and less sketchy than Magic Actions IMO. There is one long-standing bug that is annoying though -- if you have automatically expand player and use available space based on window size enabled, when you open a video in a new tab that function doesn't work. It just uses the default YouTube theater view. Going into miniplayer and back fixes it but it's annoying. Otherwise no big complaints.

It is a phenomenal and incredibly useful extension.

Nie jest taki zły,pozwala trochę dostosować na własny sposób które klawisze się przydadzą,ALE od około tygodnia i dłużej nie mam dostępnego automatycznego rozwijania opisu filmów,oraz w moim przypadku opcja ,,nie zapobiegania auto-odtwarzaniu dla list odtwarzania nie działa gdy korzystam z publicznych list np. z muzyką,w prywatnej liście działa nawet bez tego dodatku.
Osobiście bym się cieszył gdyby ta opcja tyczyła się ,,wszystkich" list odtwarzania,i auto rozwijanie opisu gdyby wróciło.
