It was a wonderful translator ... so far.
I have been working with him for years and I was pleased.
Now it is absolutely useless.
It just opens Google's own service to translate a new page.
It works great for me until the last update.
Please reverse the old way of replacing the selected text with a translation and not opening a new tab. I do not understand what the meaning of covering an open window display ... a Google translator ... a lol!
Pity to destroy the best translator so far :(

Was great, then they removed the "inline" translations (translating selected text within the webpage). Now the selected text translations are opened in a new tab!

Ahora funciona mal, antes marcando la frase traducia al castellano en la misma pagina, ahora te lleva a otra pagina donde se traduce.

以前のバージョンは選択した文字列に上書きするかたちで翻訳してくれていたのに新しいバージョンでは強制的に新しいタブを開く仕様に変わってものすごく使いにくくなってしまった
なぜこんなにストレスフルな仕様にわざわざ変えたのか了解不能

Un tres bon module dans ses anciennes versions, la traduction à la ligne a disparu quel dommage !!!

This used to be a great little app where one could highlight a section and translate there & then - now one is forced to open a new tab to find the translation - it's inconvenient, messy & unnecessary (IMO obv.) especially in light of no explanation as to why

Dictionary Anywhere app will translate via a bubble on the same page beside the text. It's not as good as what this app used to be but it's better than what this app has become.

Stopped working, when you select and attempt to translate, the text disappears.

Almost useless, it just opens Googles own translate service on a new page.

Merci pour votre réponse, mais la modification que vous avez apportée à cet addon est regrettable, d'autant plus, qu'en ce qui me concerne elle ne fonctionne pas (3.0.3.2) puisque non seulement le texte sélectionné disparait mais en plus je n'en n'obtiens pas la traduction. L'ancienne version devrait être disponible en option, selon les gouts de l'utilisateur. C'est dommage de devoir désactiver cet addon.

No funciona con Firefox Quantum 63.0.3, seleccionamos el texto y al dar clic para traducir el texto desaparece.

Worked great until 3 days ago. Now Tex highlighted disappears so don't translate anything anymore. Or it says tex man not be longer than 1100. Please

The app is malfunctioning now (after years of excellent work): selected text vanishes as soon as the app is activated. I can't find a fix anywhere online.

The selected text disappears when trying to translate it. Not acceptable to me, extension will be removed. The extension was once unique, now it's just one of many.
