publicado a há 8 anosI don't see the eu cookie warning unless I disable the extension on that domain, so, you have either whitelisted it or the extension doesn't work at all for you.
Btw when you see a cookie warning, you can report it to me. Right click on the page and choose "I dont care about cookies" > "Report a cookie warning" from the context menu. gocomics.com has never been reported to me.
Thanks!- Does it really need to refresh all tabs after update? After new update I encounter new problems with the context menu. It shows a communicate like the extension can't work properly on this domain. Later it starting to work allowing to enable/disable the extension on this domain. But if go to other tab (with different domain) it shows only do enable/disable for the domain of the previous tab, not current one. It wasn't this way after first update to web extension cuz I needed to disable on all domains I frequently use. And could you add the whitelist to the extension settings already please?

publicado a há 8 anosWhitelisting is still on the TO DO list, it will be added but it doesn't have a high priority. You are the only one who requested it :)
I cannot reproduce the tab/enable/disable problem, and I have really tested it through. The moment you switch to a different tab, the context menu updates.
About refreshing all tabs after update... you are totally right. This will be changed in the next version. Thanks for the hint! - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Miha Frangež , há 8 anosThe addon is excellent!
I just have one question:
Would you consider publishing the source code on a site like GitLab or GitHub?
I'm sure many of us would be happy to help with the development and it would make reporting and fixing bugs a lot easier.
Thank you for the good work, I'll be sure to throw a couple bucks your way once I get my PayPal to work.Resposta do programador
publicado a há 8 anosZdravo sosed :)
I was thinking about that, but I am not sure how would it help anyone due to the way the addon is put together prior to publishing.
The most important parts of the addon are one big CSS file and a couple of compressed JSON files which I generate from thousands of small files (one file - one domain). This is done so the addon can be smaller and work faster.
If you have any additional thoughts about this subject, you can contact me by email (info@kiboke-studio.hr). - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Flash_Mob_In_This_Bus_65 , há 8 anosThis is a really small addon that you install and forget and then when you use a different browser you notice all these little popups that different websites throw at you about their cookie policy. I really love this addon and am very happy that it has been updated with webextension support!
Definitely donate a few dollars to the developer if you can, he has put in a lot of work so we can live more easily. - Avaliado em 4 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 13301951 , há 8 anosWhy does this module need so many permissions, such as browser activity during browsing? (honest question)
Resposta do programador
publicado a há 8 anosI'll give you the list of permissions I request (I don't know how firefox named them when displaying the notification to you):
1. contextMenus: to create context menu options (report, toggle...)
2. tabs: to gain access to tabs and to be able to add additional code to webpages (to hide warnings)
3. storage: to maintain whitelist
4. http://*/*: special permission to have access to any domain
5. https://*/*. the same, but for https
6. notifications: to be able to nofity users about updates
7. webRequest: to be able to see the request send by browser and check if it needs to be blocked (some javascript files which render cookie warnings)
8. webRequestBlocking: to block stuff from being loaded
9. webNavigation: to be able to apply filters when the page content is ready
I hope that helped. - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 13261758 , há 8 anos
- Avaliado em 5 de 5por David Naylor , há 8 anosThis extension is my number one favourite. Works great, and it is super easy to report a site with a cookie nag that hasn't been blocked.
So pleased to see this updated for Firefox 57. I would have missed it so much if it had been left behind. - 5 stars because I don't think a problem once should compromise the whole rating. Since I don't see a clear response yet, I'm using 2.6.8 on Firefox 55.0.3. Something similar happened to gorhill/ublock with version 1.13.10, so maybe you can find something useful there.
Also I didn't manage to find a bug tracker for this extension, do you have one? I think it would be a more efficient way to report problems.
EDIT: Fixed in 2.7.0Resposta do programador
publicado a há 8 anosHi Shiba,
the new version was just uploaded and is waiting for a review. If it doesn't work for you when it becomes available, please contact me by email (info@kiboke-studio.hr).
p.s. I agree with the bug tracker idea, I'll think about it.
Thanks! - Avaliado em 3 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 11233046 , há 8 anosYour add on is a marvelous relief for my nerves, but doesn't work well in some sites and breaks some pages that have forms; this, one, for example, in:
http://www.goteo.org/contact
the "Mensaje" (Message) field disappears, but works well if I just disable I don't care about cookies. It doesn't happen in all the pages with forms, the majority don't experience any issue, but it does in many. The bug is present too in the version for Firefox Android.Resposta do programador

Replay @ Kiko: FF 48.0.2 on OS XResposta do programador
publicado a há 8 anosThis addon has switched to new WebExtensions technology which is not compatible with older Firefox versions. You'll have to update Firefox eventually and 2.6.8 (and newer versions) will then work again. - Avaliado em 5 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 13256801 , há 8 anosJuhee! It's back here. How good it is now I do not know yet, but the most important is that it has become a WE! Thank you!
