But I did notice a little problem. When I was in my Personal tab and span a child tab (also personal) to a Medium post as anonymous, one of my cpu cores goes up to 100% load.
That happen every time I spanned the Personal tab with this Medium post.
But, when I opened up the exactly same site on a regular tab (also as anonymous), the cpu was just fine.
So, I logged in at Medium in the Personal context, and the behavior was gone.
That happens on a Firefox Quantum in a Linux Fedora distribution.
What was previously managed with multiple browser accounts can now be managed with only one (provided I use the same add-ons).
A few things that would make its initial and possibly regular use more convenient in my case, mainly different ways to sort websites into a container and make it defualt.
--ability to import bookmarks and bookmark folders so that they defualt to a specific container.
--ablity to sort "current tab" and "all open tabs" into a specific container when clicking on the add-on icon
--had minor issues with [are you sure you want to open this site in this container by defualt] message where it was sometimes unresponsive (I added an entire bookmark folder to a container and opened all at once) I mostly had to wait and reload before confirming.
--The ability to generally avoid/disable the [do you want this to defualt to this container] without individually using the [rmember for this site] setting might be welcome.
Consideration: if I'm already in a particular container and link to a site that would normally use a different container I would most likely not want it to instead remain in the current container or have me decide, unless in the defualt container. If the [remember for this site] option is not selected the message does serve that purpose but it's not useful when opening bookmarks. So implementation may have to be complicated or have to allow for various rules that are dependent on the current container.
Obrigado Moz & Dev's !!! - Avaliado em 4 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 15028093 , há 6 anos
- Avaliado em 4 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 14552945 , há 6 anosThis is a great idea, as are containers generally: isolation much like virtual machines, but a level higher (above OS) so with much less overhead.
This particular app works well but is frustrating in one respect: you cannot specify to open a site in container X in future without already having done so. As it is, you must first re-open your site in a preferred container, then choose to always do so as a second (manual) step.
Even so, this app provides cross-site isolation. I feel much better having all my banking in a container no other apps see.
I accept Facebook tracking my tastes & movements as a fair exchange. If you don't, use the Facebook Container app but get this one anyway, for everything else.
It seems like "Always open in Default" never works.
- I would love to see some sort of way to save my preferences about which sites open in what custom containers, e.g. save it yo my firefox sync account, or save to a simple text file, or to some cloud storage or in whichever way that seems most applicable for this sort of data
- The add-on idea is pretty great, but it does have a lot of bugs. An option to have shortcuts for each container would be nice, also when the Firefox browser refreshes itself, my containers are lost and I have to create them all over again which is pretty annoying. More icons for the containers would be welcome
- Avaliado em 4 de 5por Pankaj Jangid , há 6 anosThis is much better than managing different profiles. This is more practical. Profiles have separate DB for stored passwords etc., which is annoying.
To make it easy to use, the Firefox team must work on easier short-cuts for container, container-tabs, default window for containers etc. 👏 Thank you very much!

- Avaliado em 4 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 14687310 , há 6 anosI've been looking for container extension. First time user, so I'll be poking around first
- Avaliado em 4 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 14964558 , há 6 anosthis is the best extension on mozilla for people who have tons of account and want to manage all of them simultaneously with just a single browser. it would be perfect if this has sync features with firefox account.
- Avaliado em 4 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 14115775 , há 6 anosPerfect in almost every aspect, missing the ability to re-sort placement in the menu. Some of my containers are much lesser used and preferably would be better at the bottom.
- Avaliado em 4 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 14933633 , há 6 anosI think it's awesome for organizing my browsing history and making the ad trackers life harder.
I would like to suggest to add regular expressions to the websites urls that fall into some category.
Were I'm currenty working, we use many subdomains for our customers, for each subdomain I have to register into some specific container. - Avaliado em 4 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 14817769 , há 6 anos
