Recently I tested every audio addon, that was updated during the last 12 months. Per-Tab Volume Control by Harrison Jones is an overengineered MV3-alternative to the „600% Sound Volume“-family of forks (e.g. lefriend, savva, 1fexd). In general all these extensions are doing the same, but this one is much bigger (unzipped 135kb vs 720kb): long videos and devices short of RAM may cause race conditions. The code contains numerous if-then mechanics demanding permanent updates. As the version history shows, the dev is delivering them – at the moment. The so called ‚compressor‘ works as an extra boost.

This extension has been mostly great, though recently it has conflicted w/ Bandcamp and I can't hear any audio w/o disabling the extension...

please add mono setting

GREAT Plugin. The Compressor is awesome as well and honestly audio compression needs to be standard in more apps.

Only 1 request.... Can there be an option to have the compressor enabled by default?

A wonderful add-on with several features (like a compressor) that set it apart from similar extensions. My only suggestion would be to make the font size larger on the volume level icon. It's barely visible now; you have to look closely to see it.

Per-Tab Volume Control is the best volume extension I’ve ever used. It would be even better if it added keyboard shortcuts.

This screams "AI" lol I don't care tho, I like the idea and how it looks. it's just, it didn't work for me..
I need this for a specific website that has alerts but doesn't let you change the freaking annoying sounds or control their loudness. but they are VERY essential..
so this extension fits here like a glove.
needs more testings tho..

Works fine but I'd welcome if there was an option to limit the volume range to 0-100%. I don't need the extra boost and the range of the slider for 0-100 is quite small.

This extension does a great job. A particular highlight for me is that you can turn down the volume on videos. I often find that videos are much too loud when you start them. It's always very unpleasant for me when videos start too loudly, but that's finally come to an end.

Does what it says on the tin. A separate make-up gain control would be usable, but the threshold seems to compensate accordingly.
