Pitch Shift Pro ("we", "our", or "the extension") by Spirit Inspired Studio is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our extension handles information when you use it.
1. Data Collection and Usage

Pitch Shift Pro does not collect, store, transmit, or share your browsing history or background user data with our servers. All audio operations are performed locally on your device. The only personal information processed by the extension is the email address and license key you voluntarily input into the extension's interface to validate your Plus or Premium status.
2. Local Storage

The extension uses your browser's local storage (localStorage) exclusively to save your audio presets, cuts, automations, loop settings, language preferences, and license status cache. This data remains on your computer and is never sent to us or any third parties. You can delete this data at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or using the tools within the extension.
3. Permissions

To function correctly, Pitch Shift Pro requires the following permissions:

storage: Required to save your personal preferences, presets, and license cache locally on your machine.
alarms: Used to schedule lightweight background tasks, such as periodic checks to validate your license status without impacting browser performance, and to manage audio automation timers (Glide feature).
tabs: Strictly used to access the media context of the tab you are currently viewing, allowing the extension to change pitch and speed. The extension does not read or monitor your general browsing activity.
Host Permission (<all_urls>): Required to apply the audio effects on any web page you visit that contains audio or video elements, enabling universal compatibility.


1. Third-Party Services & Licensing
   
   The extension interacts with media players across various websites to modify audio playback.
   The "Original Key Search" and "BPM Search" features simply open a new tab with a standard Google Search query based on the video title. We do not track your searches.
   Licensing and Payments: To activate Premium or Plus features, the extension validates your license key securely via Gumroad. We do not directly collect, process, or store any of your financial information or credit card details.
2. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with an updated "Effective Date".
