Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy governs your use of the software tools (“the Service”) developed by ShopCo Technologies Corp. (“ShopCo” or “we”). These tools presently include Shop.co (“the Extension”) for desktop web browsers, and shop.co the website (located at www.shop.co) (the “Website”). We built the Service to help our users efficiently shop online by creating a universal cart that allows users to add products from any store on the Internet and then check-out with a single step.
By using the Service, you are accepting the terms of this Privacy Policy, and you are consenting to our collection, use, disclosure, retention, and protection of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy.
I. What Information Do We Collect?
User Provided Information
ShopCo collects and stores any information you provide us when using the Service or give us in any other way, including when you register for an account, purchase a product using the universal cart, or communicate with customer service. This information may include your name, billing and shipping address, phone number, birthday, email address, and password; payment card information (including credit or debit card details); and information you provide us when you contact us for support, including during Live Chat sessions.
For your convenience, we offer you the option of linking your existing retail accounts to your Shop.co account. If you choose to do this, we will store your login credentials for those online retailers.
Automatically Collected Information
When you use the Service, our servers automatically record certain information, including the websites you visit, your interaction with websites, details of products you’ve searched for and products you choose to buy, your application or online service provider, your IP address, mobile device ID, browser type, browser language, device type, and data contained in one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser, your computer, your device and/or your ShopCo account. This information is logged by our web servers, allowing us to deliver services or information you have requested, better understand user behavior, assist in troubleshooting problems, and improve the quality of the Service.
II. How Do We Use Your Information?
We use the information we collect in order to:
- Operate the Service;
- Complete transactions made using our Extension;
- Understand how visitors use the Service;
- Improve the Service; and
- Personalize your experience when you use the Service.
III. Who Do We Share Your Information With?
We will share your information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this Privacy Policy.
We may disclose User Provided Information and Automatically Collected Information as follows:
- as directed by users in connection with providing the Service;
- as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
- when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
- with third parties who work on our behalf who do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them;
- if ShopCo is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, we may transfer your information to enable the assessment and undertaking of that transaction. We will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice on the Service as well as any choices you may have regarding such changes.
IV. What Are My Opt-Out Rights?
You can stop all collection of information by the Service easily by uninstalling the Service and no longer visiting our website. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your web browser.

V. Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information
We will retain User Provided Information and Automatically Collected information for as long as you use the Service and for a reasonable time thereafter. If you’d like us to delete User Provided Data that you have provided via the Service, please contact us at info@shop.co, and we will respond in a reasonable time. Please note that some or all of the User Provided Data and Automatically Collected data may be required in order for the Service to function properly.
Cookies
“Cookies” are small data files that are stored on the hard drive of the computer you use to view a website. Every computer that accesses our Website is assigned a different Cookie by us. “Web Beacons” are graphic image files imbedded in a web page typically used to monitor activity on a web page and send back to its home server information from your browser, such as the IP address, the URL of the page on which the Web Beacon is located, the type of browser that is accessing the site and the ID number of any Cookies on your computer previously placed by that server.
Please note that by deleting our cookies or disabling future cookies you may not be able to access certain areas or features of the Service. Opting out does not mean you will no longer receive online advertising. It does mean that the company or companies from which you opted out will no longer deliver adverts tailored to your web preferences and usage patterns, so you may see a greater number of adverts that are irrelevant to you and your preferences.
VI. Children
We do not use the Service to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at info@shop.co. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.

Keeping you and your personal information secure is very important to us. We take a number of reasonable steps to try to protect the personal information that you provide, including:
- Using a Secure Socket Layer (“SSL”) to encrypt the personal data that you send us during the order process (including any financial information such as credit or debit card details);
- Requiring you to establish a password to access your account on the Service;
- Limiting access to your information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve the Service;
- Regularly monitoring our servers and IT systems for possible vulnerabilities and attacks.
VIII. Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy here. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use of the Service is deemed approval of all changes.
IX. Your Consent
By using the Service, you are consenting to our processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. ”Processing,” means using cookies on a computer/hand held device or using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, combining and disclosing information, all of which activities will take place in the United States. If you reside outside the United States your information will be transferred, processed and stored there under United States privacy standards.
