- i was using the version for firefox 56 and was forced now to update firefox. The newest version that is compatible now is just useless and annoying ...
Cons: -used to be simple and just tile as many tabs as it was selected in the way you wanted
-used to be simple and you could just open new tabs with Shift + arrow in the direction you wanted
-used to have only one menubar for all
-now you have a gazillion firefox windows with extra bar on top
-sometimes it works sometimes you can just click it 10 times and nothing happens
Pros: -none so far !Resposta do programador
publicado a há 7 anosTile Tabs WE does work a little differently to the original Tile Tabs WE, and is not as slick as the original Tile Tabs, but it still meets the same objectives.
- You can still tile as many tabs as you want, either using the pre-defined layouts, or saved custom layouts, or tiling tabs individually (using the Tile Tab or Add Tile menu commands).
- You can simply create a tiled layout by clicking on the toolbar button or by using the Alt+Shift+Up keyboard shortcut.
- You can hide the toolbars in the tiled windows using the Toggle Toolbars menu command or the Alt+Shift+Right keyboard shortcut.
Version 11.1, which has just been released, adds two new features:
- You can select multiple tabs before clicking on the toolbar button to create a layout with just those tiles.
- You can right-click on a tab button and select Tile Tab > Direction to create a layout. - Avaliado em 1 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 14048081 , há 7 anosTerrible. At least give us the option to revert back to the old tiles page otherwise you're going to have a lot of people installing older versions of Firefox for this functionality.

publicado a há 7 anosThere is very little that the old Tile Tabs could do, that Tile Tabs WE cannot do. The main difference is that the old Tile Tabs tiled tabs in the same window, whereas Tile Tabs WE tiles tabs in separate windows. Features such as opening links in a different tab, synchronized scrolling of tabs, and resizing adjacent tabs are still available in Tile Tabs WE.
The new WebExtensions API's introduced with Firefox 57 must now be used by all add-ons and do not support displaying multiple tabs in the same browser window. - Avaliado em 1 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 13889533 , há 7 anos

My setup:
- Mac OS Sierra
- Firefox Dev Edition
- AddOns that may interfere: Simple Tab Groups
- 2 Monitors (Firefox running on secondary monitor)
- Several tabs open (but only want to use tile tabs for 2-3 tabs).
What happens when I click on new tile tab layout:
- Moves two random tabs to primary monitor on two new opened windows side by side
- The windows are not tied together, so when I resize or move one, nothing happens to the other
- I canno make this work on secondary monitor.
- I don't want the tiles to be in new windows but rather in a new tab.Resposta do programador
publicado a há 7 anosTile Tabs WE 7.0 (and later versions) create the tiled layout on the same monitor as the original Firefox window.
The tlled tabs are not randomly selected, but are the currently selected tab and tabs to the right, or if there are none, tabs to the left.
Moving a tiled window will not move the other tiled windows, but resizing the edge between two tiled windows will resize the adjacent tile window.
The new WebExtensions API's introduced with Firefox 57 must now be used by all add-ons and do not support displaying multiple tabs in the same browser window. - I feel bad for giving this a one star, the previous version was amazing. This one is horrible. Pretending browser tiles are "fine" (they aren't), there's no good option for deciding what tabs get moved next to each other. If you accidentally close a tile, it disappears and cannot even be pulled up via closed tabs list. I just had to remove this add-on, it just sucks so bad now.

I may re-install when it works properly the way the old (non WE) version did, in tabs. - Avaliado em 1 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 13586480 , há 8 anosPlease find a way to bring back Version 14.12 Released Aug. 15, 2017. - Avaliado em 1 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 13577436 , há 8 anosPffff, anyone can open two separate Firefox windows, there was and is no need for an add on for that. What was wrong with the old Tile Tabs, it was the most handy add on for me. Hey old Tile Tabs guys please do something. Firefox is not complete without you.

- I understand the limitations imposed by the new Firefox, and I wish others would understand what they are rating before throwing out 1 star reviews.
I have to however rate it at 1 star. At this point I think you are doing all you can, by moving a tab into a new window. My issue is that your methodology is highly flawed for any reasonable work flow or use case. You should really simplify the operation. Just give the option to tile the first tab as horizontal or vertical. From there you can keep adding them to the screen.
An example.
Tab1->Vertical
[Main][Tab1]
Tab2->Horizontal
[Main][Tab1]
[++Tab2++]
Etc.. Or you could launch the tile by direction.
M(Left)->1 | 1(Up)->2 | M(Up)->3 | 2(Right)->4 = Error = Slot Full
[2][3]
[1][M]
If you can't control where the windows go or move them after launch, then just cut out all this broken stuff and branch 1 window left or right or up or down. I can all but guarantee that the most used feature is moving 1 tab side by side for a comparison. When the new API gets more mature go back and add features, but for now make it work in a logical way.
I think the thing that does it in for me is that I say I want two tiles, and the add-on creates three. Just create 1 new window with the tab I have selected. This lets you control what 2 tabs you want because you can switch around in the main window. - Avaliado em 1 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 13524991 , há 8 anosi like the old version. this is just to complicated and i don't understand why it's being split from windows instead inside the window itself. it's stupid. i don't want this extension no more.
