- Avaliado em 5 de 5por Utilizador do Firefox 13331000 , há 5 anosWorks fine with the bars appearing almost instantly. You do have to follow the instructions and jump through all those hoops needed to get a Youtube API key though, otherwise if you use the public "Invidious" key instead then only some of the thumbnails get the bar and only after waiting several seconds.
Pity this addon doesn't use that API key to add a tag to the thumbnails to tell you if they're available in HD or not, because that's the other thing that tells you if the videos are worth watching or not. - Avaliado em 5 de 5por pasi123567 , há 5 anos

- Avaliado em 5 de 5por Robert Redmon , há 5 anosI have used this add-on for a long time. Despite having to follow additional steps, which are very easy, the add-on is a must for watching YouTube videos. I also give 5 stars for the communication of the developer knowing what has to happen for this to continue to work.

publicado a há 5 anosThanks for reporting this. I just released an update to address the recent issues, but the extension now requires users to enter a personal YouTube Data API key. Instructions for setting up a free YouTube Data API key, and an explanation for why this is required, can be found here:

It's surprisingly important and in many cases better metric to measure video success. You could display it in the same info box with the the like ratio when you hover mouse over the like-dislike bar.

https://github.com/elliotwaite/thumbnail-rating-bar-for-youtube - Occasionally and unpredictably stops displaying the ratings bars (maybe a YouTube API quota issue per the 0.0.42 release notes?) but this add-on is otherwise very well designed and has no doubt saved me hundreds, if not thousands, of wasted clicks and page loads over the past year or two.

However, sometimes, for no apparent reason, it just stops working for a few hours. Unfortunate, but not necessarily within the developer's control.
