the adblock doesn't seem to work anymore. there's an annoying ad for adblock plus premium that keeps coming up when i open a new window after being away for a little while.. and it seems the extension doesn't know how to handle it.

We are updating the extension, therefore a popup might appear (it will only happen once per browser/device), but you can simply close it and continue browsing. This doesn't even work properly. Doesn't block ads on twitch AT ALL. Why even use this if it doesn't actually block ads.

You shouldn't be seeing ads, regardless if you pay for Premium or not.
