    Doesn't block Twitch ads

    Hi,

    We are as frustrated by Twitch's ability to circumvent our blocks as you are. We have been looking for solutions, but with our last attempt, they detected our blocks and placed a purple notification screen which generated a large number of complaints from our users.

    Twitch is very well-funded with a large team entirely focused on finding ways around our blocks. At the same time, we are also working against similar teams at YouTube and Facebook, not to mention the many other sites where we are successfully blocking ads.

    Adblock Plus is a completely free extension. Every time ABP is installed you will see our contribution page. Feel free to close the page by clicking the "x" on the tab if you've already paid or prefer not to contribute at this time.

    Removed after years of use, My browsing session being interrupted by tabs informing me of updates, then nagging for donations is more annoying than the ads it's supposed to block.. I get that developers need support, but there's better ways of doing this.

    "Once per browser per device" every time an "update" is pushed out is a terrible way of doing this and false when I see the tab opened several times in an evening during a browsing session.

    ABP could do better, instead I have removed it and moved on to other add-ons as it's not worth the headache or interruptions. There are better, more competitive tools out there these days, that behave better than this... Sorry but you could do better.

    We are updating the extension, therefore a popup might appear (it will only happen once per browser/device), but you can simply close it and continue browsing. If you are seeing many payment tabs all at once or encountering the payment page every time you open your browser, please reach out to us via support@adblockplus.org.

    Here's more about how our contribution page works: For non-Premium users, we populate the page when we update the extension to keep you informed on changes we've made and as a reminder to support Adblock Plus if you find the software beneficial.     How do I know I have ABP? Nothing tells me that it's on my computer anywhere. I paid for this and now I don't have a clue where it is !

    This addon was superb for more than a decade however it seems to experiencing some difficulty lately staying abreast of youtube's evil advertizing ways!

    If you are using the Adblock Plus extension on a desktop browser, you should not be seeing full length ads though you may see a variety of different behaviors such as a temporary black screen or a very brief display of an ad (less than a second or two).

    Like many others I've just deleted Adblock due to the constant, disruptive begging for donations. It's uBlock Origin for me from now on.

    Terrible extension! Every other day, it goes against its own mission of preventing ads by creating its own. It opens its own tab without permission soliciting for donations. It's super annoying and disruptive. You have ruined your own brand because of your greed. I have removed you from all browsers and devices. Thank you for the short period of time when you were useful when you were doing what you set out to do.
