de narmlj, un an în urmă8 months ago, the add-on stopped working, then the authors worked tirelessly to fix it. It seems that youtube/google/alphabet just can't stand the idea of people having control over the endless disgusting slop oozing out of their website, because an update to youtube has broken this add-on once again.
I see some people saying that only the context menu has broken, but for my part, the entire add-on no longer functions at all. Oddly, the mobile version appears to still be working...
At this point, I wouldn't blame the contributors for giving up on this sisiphean chore. I certainly hope not! I want to stress how good this add-on is, WHEN it's working, in that youtube is so much more tolerable when you aren't being bombarded with gross-out bait videos, propaganda, or 'exclamation and arrow' spam. Sometimes you don't hate a channel, but get nothing but recommendations for that person... and you just want to filter your search results temporarily.
This tool is amazingly versatile, and I think indispensable in taming our increasingly corporatized internet.

The page where you can convert the channel name into the unique ID doesn't work at all! You just get a 400 error back! Also, the instructions and description are very half-hearted and minimal. How, for example, do you enter a channel name? With @ in front, or without? It would be a nice tool if it were better thought out.
