On the flip side, it has terrible performance repercussions on page load times. Not sure if devs could spend time optimizing it, or if it's well optimized and is just a result of doing a ton of work to successfully change each page on the fly. The end result is that it makes everything feel like going back to an HDD computer after using an SSD for years.

Auto-detect does not work at all, at least on Android. My phone is in night mode, but this extension completely ignores it. I remember when I could manually set when to turn this thing on, but seems like developer cut this feature.

Lo uso sul mio Android Mi A2 Lite che è un telefono di fascia bassa, e devo dire funziona benissimo anche su siti ebay amazon, e non rallenta il telefono. Sul desktop idem, nessun rallentamento anche se ho un PC vecchio
