I'm looking at an item on Amazon with Keepa installed right now. Keepa's chart says the lowest "new" price at this moment is $140, but Amazon says it is $144.99. I'd love to know where Keepa is finding it for $140 because it sure isn't available to me!

Hi Dan,
On a product listing on Amazon multiple merchants can offer the product for different prices. Amazon then chooses the “best” offer among those to display on the product page, in the so called Buy Box.

Keepa does not track the buy box, it tracks the cheapest price of all available offers, shipping costs not included, per condition.

The "new" price type is the lowest New price by a 3rd party seller or Amazon, shipping not included.

When on the product page there is a box on the right showing “Other Sellers on Amazon”, which also contains a link to see all offers. There you should find the offer for $140, shipping not included.

If you want to see a price history with shipping costs included you can enable the price types with a small shipping truck icon next to them. To enable additional price types just click on them in the legend next to the graph. Note though, that we do not track all price types for all products.

    After years of usage they suddenly dropped the limit of tracked items from thousands to 200, without any notice and making impossible to even modify existing trackers. Wil move to another tracker.

    Free alerts downgraded to 200 listings. Now costs an insane €290 a year subscription. This extension doesn't even save me €290 a year. Bunch of clowns.

    Plugin used to be good for tracking items until devs set a 200 product limit. Pro subscription is not worth the cost just to increase that limit.

    Free version is now limited to 200 trackings. For more you have to buy the pro version for 29 EUR/month. No, thanks. I'm gonna checkout CamelCamelCamel now.

    What are these clowns up to? After using them on Amazon for a decade and with around 3,000 live trackings, they've suddenly, one random afternoon (3 Feb. 2026), blocked my adding any further trackings until I've 'deleted one' (what they seem to mean is, I must delete ALL trackings except a useless 200, before adding any more!).
    I use keepa solely as a private individual, nothing to do with any business, so 'all' I'm doing is making money for keepa and Amazon (i.e. ANY sellers on Am. who hit my target prices for CDs, books, DVDs etc. for my collections). I've bought FAR more stuff since using keepa than before, but at what I can prove at a glance to be historically more sensible prices.
    keepa have the nerve to suggest I should now pay around 30 euros PER MONTH (yes, really) to continue using the service as before (i.e. as before plus a load of useless crap I don't want or need as solely a buyer of stuff).
    Thanks a bunch keepa. Now I have to transfer my whole tracking list to another platform. Dolts.

    Was a very decent price tracker until they suddenly changed their free tier tracking limit from 5000 to... 200!!! Enshitification.

    Broken on Firefox/Fennec for Android as of 01/17/26 According to another review it's due to switch to cloudflair. NextDNS logs implicate a Cloudflair DNS component as a "bypass method" attempting to circumvent private DNS rules. This was never a problem. Let's hope they fix.

    it was good when it worked, but now it only says

    "Firefox Can’t Open This Page

    To protect your security, keepa.com will not allow Firefox to display the page if another site has embedded it. To see this page, you need to open it in a new window."

    but opening Keepa's frame in a new window doesn't load, so it's useless on Firefox now!

    edit: The Camelizer - Price Tracker still works on FIrefox, but it requires you manually click it to see the price, compared to how Keepa used to automatically show it on the main product page (back when it worked.)

    Inside the extension lives `keepa.js`. A notable file and it preforms its duties well. I enjoy using this extension but I have to make personal modifications.

    1. Disable Bug Reporting (Telemetry)

    2. Disable Background Scraping (The "Botnet" Feature)

    3. Disable Invasive Stock Checking (Session Hijacking)

    Since keepa is eula I cant share my derivative of keepa. They have no option to disable any one of these invasive features. If you really want to you have to edit the source code by hand like I have done. I will change the review to 5 stars if they choose to make these changes a toggle and change the license to GPL 2.

    Cette extension valait 5 étoiles, jusqu’à l'utilisation du stupide antibot de chez cloudflare qui tourne en rond et n'affiche jamais la suite.
    Si vous voulez bloquer les humains, cet antibot est parfait.

    This Keepa Firefox-addon WAS a FIVE star, but now it has become totally unusable due to the cloudfare anti-bot. No way to stop the "I'm a human" loop . This is so sad because it WAS so GOOD. I've been using it for years !

    It was so great, when it worked on firefox.
    Now, it won't work because, now it's using clouflare which always blocks me and now I'm asked to remove my adblocker!!??

    This is a stupid request - and why do you need cloudflare?

    I have been using this extension for a while and I like that it works right out of the box without a bunch of configuring. I also like that it has filters like price drop alerts and such, although I haven't gotten around to using them.
    -1 star for: "This add-on is not actively monitored for security by Mozilla. Make sure you trust it before installing"
    I'm not sure how you're supposed to be able o quickly research and monitor the security of an extension.

    Really good. Nowadays a lot of things say they are on sale but it can be very misleading. I have no complaints about this extension.
