Bug on map/trekking sites like ignrando.fr or openrunner.com. Module prevent maps to be displayed. It's necessary to entirely inactivate the module (inactivation of all filters doesn't work)

What is this nonsense? Stick to facts/evidences and stop spreading disinformation.
uMatrix and uBlock Origin connects only to download assets used (filter lists, hosts files), and you have full control over this. I know of no content blocker in the same class as uBlock Origin which do not need to regularly download filter lists for their proper functioning, so you have to be trolling to claim that I am "famous" for what is the expected behavior.

uMatrix fullfill all the tasks, what i need to have on my browser, all websites are set suspicious and blocks all vulnerable elements.
But i would likely uMatrix to remember my trusted choices, especially some domains, like googlevideo.com, gstatic or Captcha services.

postat la 8 ani în urmăIf you want one or more rules to apply everywhere, just select the global scope, set the rule(s), then click the padlock to save them. Rules set in the global scope will apply everywhere, on all sites. The padlock will make these rules permanent, they will still be there when you reload the extension.

Because sometimes just having uMatrix enabled in the Extensions page of Firefox will break some websites even though uMatrix is set to "Disabled for this scope."
This occurs mostly on login pages, and one has to go to the extension page and disable uMatrix to login to a site. This is across both Linux and Windows.
If there was a way to COMPLETELY disable uMatix from the toolbar... well that would be great.Răspunsul dezvoltatorului
postat la 8 ani în urmăThe idea is that you should configure the proper ruleset once for the login then you will be set forever. You can create rules in the global scope for things that will often need whitelisting. The top-left cell is the scope selector, from where you can access the global scope.
In any case, you can disable globally by selecting the global scope and toggle off matrix filtering, not recommended though, best is to create the needed rules so you do not have to ever disable globally.

I am still learning how to use it. Two things would be great to add:
1. I would like to be able to import my old NoScript whitelist.
2. NoScript had a feature that you could middle-click on a domain in the dropdown list and you could customize to go to another website:
I had it so I could quickly check that domain on Norton, like this:

It would put "someSite.com" (whatever you middle-clicked on) on the path
