Haven't tried the extension much. I mostly wanted to be able to adjust the playback speed with keyboard shortcuts.

FINDING SETTINGS. I found it tricky to find the settings/options for the extension. They can be found by clicking the navigation bar icon. If the icon is not visible in the navigation bar, click the extension icon (puzzle piece), and then the name of the extension (not the settings gear next to the name).

My initial review was just asking for instructions on how to find the settings, which has been requested several times before and still remained unanswered. The developer seems to take everything as a personal attack and interpreting low ratings as malicious, and rather than giving straight answers goes on rants and insult the reviewers.

EDIT: hi again Sir, we still didn't insult you at all. Most of all browser extensions are just used this way, with nav-bar icons most of the time. After installation the appear at the "puzzle piece", then people "pin" them. Browser changed this a few times in over the years. It is is no bad, if you aren't an expert of these particular facts, but as said this extension is made for the common and easy way only. In about 10.000 user messages i read this maybe 5 times, so it is highly unlikely to appear 3 times in a row in 2023. BTW. i even I took the time for to figure out enabling your preferred other way to call the options, which is available since 5 days now. If you don't care for the extension and didnt find an issue, you shouldn't even rate 4 stars. It is below our average of 4.52.

Still unsure whats the joke. Why would you feel so strong here? It is very unlikely / paradox if you wait for this extension like christmas gifts and already know the features are good, yet already want to attack the giver / volunteers. You might not want to hurt enduring volunteers or be perceived as spam. One more time: You can review the answer. It is informative. Most of all extensions have a navbar-browser-icon. Searching for options in the browser's full extension list is a bit old /outdated way and if you open it like that, it is far from what we meant (, which is switching on features while you are on YouTube to see the effect immediately).

The settings will not be retained. Every new page load is unchanged even though the settings are listed as active.

While the features this addon provides are great, I am unable to use any of them because every time I attempt to install this extension, my computer becomes unusably laggy regardless of whether youtube is active or not. My computer gets so laggy that youtube videos are no longer able to play. Am not sure if this is an issue on my end or on the developer's end but this extension is completely unusable for me.

For the past few days, some YouTube pages in Firefox have been experiencing terrible page freezes. The built-in manager shows a load of 100% or even 200+%. When the add-on is disabled and the page is reopened, everything returns to normal.

The fit-to-window feature is mostly what I wanted, and it works properly. I wanted it to hide the recommendations column completely as I find those distracting, while having the video as large as possible without fullscreening the browser.

I really love this add on and I don't have a github to bug report, but I wanted to let the dev know that the blocklist isn't working properly. It isn't blacking out/shrinking down blocked content like it used to it just shows back up like nothing happened (both homepage and recommends). I did try clearing my cache to see if it was me but no luck. Appreciate the hard work!

Does not shuffle playlists on Firefox mobile. This is the only extension I could find that claimed to do this, but I was very dissapointed when the option was enabled and the playlist continued in order.

Hi! Please consider by the nature of our work you might always find some feature requiring updates after changes to the Youtube website. Our feature automatically activated Youtube's button to shuffle playlists. You can also try if logging out makes a difference.

Im not sure how it is on desktop but it is really buggy on mobile firefox. Whenever you try to look into someone's channel and move to other taps such as the channel's home/videos, it just freezes. It doesn't let your reload nor get out of the page via return button. Also even when it works when you try to click the channel's other shorts it freezes. I tried turning on & off my phone but it still does it. Had to disable the addon.

hi! doesnt depend browser or OS much but m.youtube is a different website so only player features work but not layout. Please file a bug report at https://github.com/code-charity/youtube/issues looking for errors logged or adding more detail. Thanks

(This type or project should rather be rated for how it does the things it is meant to do not yet m.youtube or what youtube changes today, etc.)

hi, why would it be good there? Generally runs on youtube and youtube's embedded players. Next we can add any video too.
