Like others, I have no idea why the developer created such a useless add on. The Chrome version is better as it allows you to customize the browsers you see.

This pretty much is a waste of 1's and 0's. Uninstalled it after 60 seconds.

It doesn't quite do anything at all. I have Android Firefox set as the default browser and yet when I select a word and look for "web search" in the context menu, the search is opened up in Samsung's native browser (which I never use). I would like to use Firefox to do just that, ideally from any app, not just from within Firefox. Thanks for your effort, though!

Not the same as the Chrome extension. The chrome/chromium extension lets YOU add any url you want as a search target and replaces TESTSEARCH in the url with the selected text. This one is junk.

I got my context menu search back working with all my 47 already installed search engines.

I'm still waiting for the API patch so we won't need manual or external app to keep it up to date. But 'til there this extension is pretty satisfying.

It's great that you've made a webextension for this but limiting the search options to Quora, Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin and Youtube, without the ability to modify the list, is quite limiting.

If possible, make the extension use the installed search engines or add the ability to manually modify the list.
