Destructive add-on. When copying from Simplenote.com notes text longer than 10 lines, this app truncates it making looking like

The middle part just disappears.

Real nice addon. But there are two destructive problems:

1. It disables secondary click (right click for most people) on sites like YouTube, and google drive and mega. Without right click, google drive and mega are completely unusable.

2. As a developer myself, I tend to write my own HTML and CSS, and every time I do that, and open my own app without jQuery, I get Uncaught ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined

... so for any developers, that wrote 20 lines of HTML CSS will be surprised to see what's going on! The developer of this extension must be very noob because they haven't considered this small yet very important problem!!

So 2 stars but not 1 star because it gets the work done.

Lately I have noticed in Firefox that the mouse-3 context menu, including the "copy video URl at current time" (CVUACT) item, does not appear. It turns out that the addon enable-selection somehow blocks the youtube context menu.

Works, but breaks a lot of sites. For example, it completely disables the ability to copy anything from any Google Docs including Google Sheets. Ctrl+C doesn't work, right click and copy doesn't work, picking copy from the edit menu doesn't work. Entirely broken.

This addon takes the wrong approach to fix text selection. I'll be hunting for a different addon that doesn't break so many sites.

While this extension is useful for its purpose, it seems to unintentionally disable custom JavaScript context menus in webpages (the regular browser context menu appears instead). Some places this happens include YouTube videos, Google Docs, and Google Drive. I would appreciate it if this was fixed. Thanks!

Works perfectly! No privacy breaching either (I checked the code) so you can trust this add-on.

Positive: It also prevents pages, that allow select and copy, from adding their copyright claim to the text copied to the clipboard. Perfect. Example: https://www.chinahandys.net/redmi-k30-testbericht/

Negative: Unfortunately it disables the special right click menu of chronometer.com (on added foods) so the browser's menu shows up instead. Needs a blacklist.
