This explains how the Everything to Notebook (E2N) Firefox extension and e2n.studio handle information.
If you install or use the E2N extension, or browse e2n.studio, this summary applies. Browsers, BYOK model providers, and checkout storefronts have their own terms.
API keys and destination tokens stay in your browser's local storage. We do not store your keys in the cloud.
For long-text or multimodal jobs, keys and page payloads are sent over HTTPS to E2N edge nodes (Cloudflare Workers). Nodes proxy in memory and discard data. We do not retain keys or clipped content in databases, disks, or logs.
We do not use your clips, API keys, or derived data to train AI models.
You choose where to send content: Google NotebookLM, Feishu/Lark, Notion, and/or local Obsidian (up to two targets per push). Notion tokens stay local; content goes to api.notion.com. Obsidian writes only to 127.0.0.1 on your device.
The extension may send anonymous events (install/update, daily heartbeat, first successful push, Pro usage counts): device id, version, UI language, inferred country (network edge, not GPS), install channel, optional partner referral. No browsing history, page URLs, clip content, API keys, or notebook names.
First install may open a visible e2n.studio welcome page. Uninstall feedback is optional and anonymous (reason, optional comment, language, version, channel) — no name, email, or device id.
