The search doesn't work, it just stops working for me if I type a single letter there. Firefox 139.0.4, snap for Ubuntu.

It doesn't search properly. When I try to search something, I get `Uncaught TypeError: visit.title is null`.

I checked in Reddit an alternative and got Improved History.

Considering the search doesn't work and that's the only useful feature in the default firefox history, I fail to see how this is a "Better History". The GUI looks great, but search is required. So close, yet so far.

Used to love this extension. Sad to see that the search is broken - it's useless to me now. FF's own History window is so wonky and this was my only way to make things good.

Update: Thank you Nelson for pointing out "Better History NG"! Now I can stay on Firefox.

Search is broken, but, even when it worked, it would just show a list of results, like regular history. Meanwhile, the calendar view shows complete history, with no way to filter it.

Search is broken, and they apparently wont fix it. If anybody has any recommendation regarding history add-on to switch I would appreciate it.

Search does not work and even if it did, there is not hotkey to open. So you have to click the icon from the toolbar every time to open history. That will take some time to get used to.

This used to be excellent but the search function has been broken for some time.

Extremely buggy and slow

Very sorry to see that this no longer works and is no longer maintained. It was awesome.

Extension broke as of late september 2022 and the developer says they will not fix it.

cpu overload

massive CPU overload

As soon as I open the tab for for BH, my cpu fluctuates between 25-35%. As soon as I close the tab, the cpu goes back down to 1-2%. I have uninstalled and then reinstalled twice more with the exact same results. I would like to try this on a more extended and extensive basis, but at least for now, it will have to stay either closed or off Firefox.

While using this add on Malwarebytes popped up with 24 warning messages as it blocked numerous malware, adware, Trojans, and other malicious websites that were trying to be opened in Firefox. I was just scrolling from month to month, not selecting any links. Some of the websites were in my history, some were not.

I don't know why this happened but I'm not going to spend the time trying to figure it out. I uninstalled the add on to make it stop.
