Until version 7.5.1 this plugin has been great. The version 8 loses the complete old (complex) configuration. The new interface did not work (no reaction if I click something). I reverted to the old version 7.5.1 and disabled updates.

Now it doesn't work on Android and new interface is very bad.

This is why people never update their stuff. In one single update you completely changed the user interface and it is crap! Some crappy colors that are hard to read, and why are included and excludes all bunched together now? And all of a sudden I find that you defaulted to the proxy being turned OFF after the update! And NONE of the patters work properly! Morons! Who's stupid idea was this? Why don't you give people an option? Or at least WARN people you are going to destroy something they've been using for years! I'm so sick of devs doing this!

The selected proxy is not applied after the update. System information - android 14, Google Pixel 7, Firefox version - 120.2.1

Foxy proxy has stopped working, probably at some update, all configurations removed, not able to activate newly added options anymore.

Destructive code causing data loss, my settings are lost and not recoverable like foxyproxy team claims.

Hard to know how many stars to give....FP has worked for me for years, but this recent update screwed it. I re-added my proxies, and it seemed to be OK, but I found that randomly sites are not going out of a proxy even though I am only using this one proxy at a time, no patterns!
Deleted and reinstalled, set up again, seems to be OK so far.
Annoying.

Lack of testing on this module during updates, I went from 7.5.1 to 8.6 and all the conf was lost... and a return to 7.5.1 did not reappear the old configurations ... in short, everything to do again :-(
And now, after switching to 8.8, the exclusions no longer work.
Too bad but I uninstall and switch to SwitchyOmega which is simple and works better.

The 8 update brought super ugly interface and has broken the functionality.

When I updated it, the Android platform failed.

1: télécharger l'ancienne version 7.5.1: https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/firefox/addon/foxyproxy-standard/versions/
2: installer la via: about:addons
3: exporter votre configuration au format json
4: installer la mise à jour 8.2
5: dans les options, choisissez Import from older versions puis selectionner le fichier json précédent

Et voila, il n'y a pas mort d'hommes :)

This last update broke everything and deleted my proxies. No warning, no nothing, it's also very ugly now. Thanks, now I get to spend valuable time today figuring out how to get it back to where it was.

Works nicely. There had been a slight issue with the version that got automatically installed yesterday - with the update today the old proxies got restored.

It seems everything was broken on version 8.2, released Dec 6, 2023.
All you users can use the previous version through the see all versions link.
You can download and setup version 7.5.1 and will work fine!
Also, you should set the automatic update for add-ons to disable.

This update wiped all my settings from previous version. Design of new version is also bad. Now I have to install old version and configure it again

The previous version was much better than the new one, too bad there is no way to return the old one. I'm deleting it.
