As a developer, I have found for myself a new use case for containers. I make different containers (eg. dev1, dev2, etc.) and use them to maintain different user sessions in each container while I'm testing my app.

Only thing that is missing (I think) is a quicker way to open certain containers, for example open all tabs in a bookmark group (eg. work related bookmark group) into a particular type of container (eg. work container)

This addon is great! It should be included into Firefox.
And as repeated by alot of people already: It would be so much better if the container settings were Synced between devices... Or at least give us a way to import/export them easily

But it's definitely the biggest reason for me to use firefox, after many years of Chrome

Having recently moved to Firefox from Chrome (since Google messed with the multi personality settings) I was overjoyed when I saw this plugin.

It seems to do exactly what it says on the tin .. the only downside I can find so far is that it doesn't seem to sync between machines, so all the preferences need to be manually copied from laptop to desktop / etc .. which is a bummer.

Would be 5 stars if only the profiles sync'd along with everything else through Firefox Sync

Very good

It's really great, but I wish the settings I have for each container were ported over with Firefox sync. The containers, settings for each container, etc. I understand this request may have difficulties I don't understand, but this problem is the only thing stopping me from rating this add on as perfect.

A recent update seems to have caused CPU usage to go out of control with this extension enabled. I've disabled the extension, and noticed I still have Container tabs functionality, albeit without the extension toolbar button - so I question the need for this extension.

Container tabs have quickly become a must-have feature for me. I have quite a few sites where I actively use multiple accounts (Google, Microsoft, Amazon) and not having to use a separate browser with a completely separate profile and set of addons is great. Even with sites that do allow simultaneous sign-in with different accounts, opening, for example, a work-related link in my work container ensures that it will use my work Google and Microsoft accounts and not accidentally leak/link any personal data.

Would have been perfect if you can sync settings

I love this add-on. One of my go to whenever I bootup a new computer. Something to improve could be:
- Save configurations somewhere so its linked to my account. I have to manually add the same configuration over and over again when I configure a new computer.

It's fantastic but the fact that the setup of Containers (names and assigned websites) does not sync between accounts is a huge drawback!

I wish I had separate new tab buttons for different containers

Really cool idea, but a few key features would turn this into something I could use every day:
1) the ability to switch the container of an open tab. I frequently open tabs, then have to close them and open a new container tab because I forgot to open the container tab first.
2) a way to open certain bookmarks (or pinboard links) in a particular container. I'd like to be able to log in to google drive in two accounts in two containers, and when I open the bookmark for Corporate Google Drive, I'd like it to open in my Work container.

I love this for juggling AWS accounts and testing web apps. The only thing I wish it did differently was overriding the new tab keyboard shortcut to open in the same container as the current tab.

Seit ich die Container habe, hilft mir die Farbkennung, den Überblick zu behalten. Das ist wirklich praktisch. Die Installation geht leicht von der Hand, die Nutzung ist fast selbsterklärend. Ich differenziere die Farben nach Anwendungsbereichen und Kunden. Ich hätte mir da mehr Farbauswahl gewünscht - auch deshalb nur vier Sterne, denn ideal wäre es, die CI-Farbe des Kunden verwenden zu können. Das klappt nicht immer. Kann ja noch kommen. Auch bei der Icon-Auswahl wäre etwas mehr Variabilität schön.
Extrem praktisch wird es, wenn man das erste Mal bestätigt hat, einenContainer öffnen zu wollen und das Häkchen bei "Merk dir das" gesetzt hat. Dann kommen keine lästigen Fragen mehr und Links werden im selben Container geöffnet.
Schnell erlernbar, großer Nutzen, wenn man ein visueller Mensch ist, unaufwendig im Handling - klasse.

Me parece una aplicación estupenda, al menos me da sensación de seguridad. Le quito una estrella porque tuve algunos problemas logeando en algunos sitios como Youtube, aunque parece que se han solucionado en esta versión.

1. Container info does not use firefox sync
2. Reopen in a different container should have an option to delete all cookies in current container.
3. Have an option to ask for which container before opening a new domain.
4. Should be integrated to core firefox rather than addon.

Great that this container feature is here. I would love to see it extended to something like tab groups, as a logical progress of my "Personal" and "Work" tabs beeing separated visually.

Works nice. Could be improved.

A nice feature would be i f you could set default container on which tabs open depending on the time of the day.

Example: open in "work" container from 9 to 15 hs.

A great ad-on to separate my shopping from my research or banking browsing. I sometimes forget to switch to the right profile - and it's (for obvious reasons) not possible to switch an open tab from one container to another. So the missing 5th star is more to do with my own discipline than with the add-on...
