- Evaluat(ă) cu 1 din 5 stelede Rufus J Squirrel, 2 ani în urmăI really love Proton as a company but this add-on is infuriatingly buggy. Every time I boot Firefox, it will not reconnect and I have gotten to the point where I have to disable and re-install it to get it to work. I never had this problem with Nord and Proton offering a Firefox extension was a big factor in my decision to switch. I have no idea why it won't connect either because the way it is designed means it just sits there in a window with a spinning pinwheel and won't give me any information about what it's doing.

- Evaluat(ă) cu 3 din 5 stelede Alex, 2 ani în urmăGood server with good speed. The add-on is not bad, but there are sometimes connection drops. The biggest disappointment is that every time me open the browser, the add-on does not create a connection automatically. Each time I have to log in to my proton account and only then manually create a connection. For comparison, the same Proton extension works flawlessly in the Google Chrome browser.

no app for arm hardware so far as I can tell - Evaluat(ă) cu 4 din 5 stelede Lucy, 2 ani în urmăWorks nice if you have a paid subscription. Though, would be wonderful to implement reverse version of the split-tunneling, when only sites specified are routed through the VPN.
E.g. if I'm ok with revealing my ip to most of the sites I visit, or I already route all the home network traffic through a local Proton server, but I want to completely hide my location from selected few sites. For them I'd like Firefox to automatically route the connection through a secure-core network. Currently it is only available when you manually connect and disconnect the extension as needed, and I often forget to do so.
Otherwise, a very useful extension - Evaluat(ă) cu 2 din 5 stelede MB, 2 ani în urmăIncredibly flaky VPN connection. I can be happiliy browsing then things .... just ... stop. Then I look at the extension icon and it's a warning yellow. It's disconnected with no notification. So I click to reconnect and a notification shows "Connected", BUT the actual window still shows connecting, and more often than not that connection actually fails.
It's got nice features with split tunneling and so on, but way too frustrating to use regularly. - Evaluat(ă) cu 1 din 5 stelede infinitecrafter, 2 ani în urmăThe proton vpn desktop version is free but this is not.
- Evaluat(ă) cu 1 din 5 stelede Utilizator Firefox 18245572, 2 ani în urmăproton has free vpn service in desktop but this extension won't work if you're not premium plan, LOL
- Evaluat(ă) cu 1 din 5 stelede siam, 2 ani în urmăwent through all the steps to get it to work, made an account, whatever– and when i opened the extension to turn it on, all the countries are grayed out and the only button available is one telling me to upgrade my plan. i got this extension because it was supposed to be free. clearly, it is not. incredibly disappointed.
- Evaluat(ă) cu 1 din 5 stelede Blue, 2 ani în urmăHaving to occassionaly enter my Proton username and password at random times, which renders Firefox unusable until I enter that Proton log in information, is extremely annoying.
And btw, for some reason my Proton log in didn't work for this extension (I use a password manager, so not only do I know my log in info is correct, I was able to log into my Proton account via the Proton website).
I had to close Firefox and disable this extension. - Evaluat(ă) cu 1 din 5 stelede KnOwlEdge, 2 ani în urmăRIDICULOUS decision.
A free addon for paying users.
Who on freaking earth, heaven and hell came up with this amusing idea?
And they don't even write it clearly in the short description right next to "add to firefox", which is as far as most of us go when downloading something with a good reputation.
Seriously, who can be so greedy and mean to make such an addon only available to paying users?
Another famous VPN also offers 10GB free monthly and they offer an addon for everybody.
It totally makes sense.
There are already enough downsides with the free account. Let people use the app, so they can see if they like it. Not everybody wants a system wide VPN!
So not customer friendly.
And their people in Reddit even removed my post when I was asking about this.
I swear I will never pay for anything Proton now. EVER. - Evaluat(ă) cu 5 din 5 stelede Boogus, 2 ani în urmă

- Evaluat(ă) cu 5 din 5 stelede DiogoDP, 2 ani în urmăThis extension is very useful, especially when some websites don't allow me to use a VPN when accessing them.
I am able to exclude these sites from the VPN without having to disable it completely, as used to happen with apps or when importing the Wireguard file on Linux.
Now I've migrated to this extension and I'm very satisfied! - Evaluat(ă) cu 1 din 5 stelede FV, 2 ani în urmăПоменяйте зеркала для логина, а то в расширение даже не зайти без ВПНа
