Safe Links Cleaner de David Byers

Microsoft Defender for Office 365 Safe Links is a technology that rewrites links in mail messages, so links to unsafe sites can be disabled. The downside is that the resulting links are hard to read in plain text mail, and it's difficult to see the actual target of the link before clicking on it.

This addon does several things:

• The display of any safe links is changed to show the original link. When clicking the link, the safe link is still used. This makes plain text links readable again.
• A tooltip is added to all safe links showing the original link. This lets you check the target before clicking.
• A "copy original link" menu item is included in the context menu for safe links. Sometimes you need to access the original link, and this lets you do that.
• When responding to a message containing safe links, they are rewritten to their original links so quoted messages are readable.
